I agree completely about the styles with regard to Wilder and Chisora. Chisora and Takam however are very similar. And with regard to my Hail Mary comment, Chisora was clearly the dominant fighter in both the Spilka and Price fight. The Takam fight however, was very different, that’s why Chisora knocking him out came from nowhere. Pretty much everyone had Chisora finished in that fight, and then bang. That for me is a Hail Mary. Anyhow, my ultimate point was that I don’t see Usyk ducking Chisora. How the fight goes is a different story.
Oh good grief, so Usyk is ducking brontosaurus chisorus by trying to face Wilder, AJ and Ruiz, now? Give me strength.
What has Chisora achieved? He KOd a few guys faster than others did. And Usyk´s face? Is that all you are going by? Usyk has proven himself to be among the very best in boxing, Chisora isn’t even among the best in his own division. But Usyk is scared... It´s one thing to believe that Chisora will give him a though night or would beat him, but it´s absolute BS to say that Usyk would never take that fight. That he is scared. If Usyk is scared of Chisora, then why move up at all?
Whether you call ducking or anything else,I do not like what Usyk is doing. It is certainly not good for boxing.
How many have even tried? Steve Cunningham had a good run. Adamek came up way short. Haye had success. Huck nearly beat Povetkin. Jean Marc Mormeck failed. James Toney punished a few fools. Who else is there?
guys like jirov, Al cole, Orlin Norris .The point is only few were able to win a title.Chisora is actually a good test to see where Usyk is at.Unforthunately he wants to take the safe route
I already give Usyk big props for dominating CW but he’s leaving the little league and mixing it with the big boys now, different kettle of fish. If he beats Chisora it proves he can hang right at the top.
you do realise that anyone in the divison was want to face AJ wilder or Ruiz ANYONE even in this forum lol they will cry lie cheat act anything to get s title shot obviously Usyk wants the easiest cash out option why get beat up and lose a title shot?
I think Usyk is a great and interesting addition to the division but I can understand why he would swerve a guy that potentially ruins a big payday for him.
Trying to fight the champions? Really? That's bad for boxing? I fail to understand how Usyk in particular is a problem right now. Everybody else that moves up and fights the champions is "daring to be great" and "putting it on the line", like, for example, Canelo, who has done jack **** at LHW but gets to fight Kovalev right away. Is this like a Wilder protection squad thing? People angry because Usyk wants to fight for a title make no sense to me right now.
If he beats AJ, Ruiz, Wilder and Fury, it proves he can hang at the top. Beating Chisora is nothing as good as beating them.
