Wilder landed just 17 per cent of his power shots, that compares to landing 55 per cent in his last eight fights.

Meanwhile, Fury limited Wilder to 71 connects (six per round) and Klitschko to 50 when he fought against him (less than four per round).

Maybe something to do with having an excellent defence also?

that’s on klitschko. Fury was clearly throwing and landing. He just doesn’t have power

joshua landed 21 more punches after 11 and a half rounds. So 2 more punches each round in reality

klitschko only threw about 30 more punches against AJ also, but could find the target at double the success rate.

I dont think Fury is anywhere near the standard he was pre PED, coke and eating binge retirement. Hence why he fought such poor opposition since his return and struggled aginst them. Turning down fights against AJ and Whyte.

I would back the likes of Ruiz, AJ, Whyte, Usyk, Parker, Povetkin, Hunter and Pulev against Fury. Maybe even Hrgovic, Gassiev and Dubois too. I might even back Chisora in a fight against Fury he has appeared to regressed that much.

think his heart isn’t in it. He has made his money and enjoying life.

I highly doubt pulev, Hunter, povetkin chisora or hrgovic beat him however.

And he will never fight Parker, very close friends

Fury also got into the head of the usually unflappable Wlad.Had he been sound of mind he’d of let his hands go as Fury had been dropped by smaller guys before.
Just a weird awful fight that Fury deserved to win.
Wilder fight was a shock as it came earlier than we thought?that said I think it was highly predictable that even a fat Fury could outbox Wilder and win rounds. Also predictable that Wilder would catch him with something and drop him.Takes some will power to will the knockout on in round twelve though and that’s exactly what Wilder did albeit Fury somehow got back up and gave it back.
I’m not looking into Wallin performance too much as Wallin was totally unknown and may prove himself to be better than what we all expected.Ive no doubt Wallin could outbox Wilder for so many rounds before succumbing to the inevitable big knockout punch.
The only thing I’d say right now is Fury still wanting the Wilder fight as he doesn’t seem to Be interested in titles.

What a sad excuse. Fury pulled out when his uncle/trainer died on fight week. Wlads girlfriend suffered a bit of depression that may or may not have even affected him. Thats the difference.

Flicky back hand jab thing lol I like it.Hate it when he does that and I’m sure it’s illegal but given how it doesn’t hurt anyone they probably just let it go.
Fury is pretty good if you play his game but those who go after him no matter their size often have success.

I’d much rather watch a fury fight over a wlad fight any time. The only real exciting fights he’s had in his career is when he has been beaten.

exciting fights wlad has won since becoming a world ranked fighter....ummmmm....Sam peter after being bounced off the canvas 3 times? The povetkin fight my god, not even 1 point taken. Chagaev, chambers, igbrahamov. Why aren’t people happy to see the back of wlad ?? I just don’t understand it.

i get that he’s a ‘gentleman’ and definitely not a fake control freak. HE WAS EYE WATERINGLY BORING. At least usyk and loma have you on the edge of your seat.

Fury has had wilder, wallin, USS, tried to make wlad fight, chisora

We had ten years of it as well lol.Povetkin fight was a joke.
Folk may not agree with me but the best I’ve seen Fury was in the second Chisora fight as he was more prolific and his jab was really solid and he appeared to sit on his punches more.
I’ll always tune in to watch Tyson Fury his cousin however.

agree chisora 2 was absolutely excellent. We know chisoras mind set and to make him ‘no mas’ is very impressive

Prime Ali would make him look clumsy.
Even Wallin was able to outbox him in many rounds.
