Winning requires at a minimum TWO judges to scoring the fight in someones favor.

Shot fighters don't win championships and KO fighters with jabs.

And I also feel with a short break between fights this actually may help Krusher. Yard put some damage on him no doubt but to remain rock steady in tip top shape plays to Krusher.
Canelo takes too many breaks between camps, I hated that about Floyd also, and he has to pack on a few pounds.
This is going to be an epic fight or a a huge letdown

Reg come on son!!! If Big Red goes to the ropes it will not be to shell up it will be an invite to shorten the distance on Krusher. GGG was wise to back off when Canelo went to the ropes so let’s hope Krusher only advances IF he hurts Big Red and has him on the ropes. Hell even that is risky as Big Red has the best inside uppercut in the business right now.

Kovalev stays at distance even when the oponent is on the ropes.

Been alil while since Ive been on here, but since Saturday is Kovalev vs Canelo, thought Id give an opinion. My pick is Alvarez. By body shot stoppage, round 10. Kovalev's jab is going to be his key punch. Its a bruising jab and if he can consistently hit the mark and disrupt Alvarez from getting inside, he has a good chance. Buuuuut Kovalev doesnt have a gas tank like Canelo. Kovalev will tire late and be unable to hold off Canelo's body attack.

It is hard to say, although it is a little too close. but I see your point. Kovalev gets tired in all of his fights near round 6 or 7.. But the jab is very important and landing the right hand from a distance. Kovalev has to do damage early and work the body. People say Canelo has to work the body, so does Kovalev and to work on the uppercut if Canelo gets inside.

Honestly think one of them is going to sleep

Kovalev has to go for the KO

Clenelo will attack the body and hope to break him down late

It is a tough fight to pick. Canelo is fighting his best right now. He is where Hearns was in 1984. Kovalev is a few years beyond his best, yet has the size advantage.
