Should you ever brawl in a boxing match? Was Taylor v Pograis a bit of a brawl? This content is protected
ramirez is better, which will force taylor to try and create distance, which he will be unable to do successfully because of his inexperience at this level. he may appear like he is having success at the beginning, but the speed, pressure and power of ramirez will wear on him very quickly, eventually forcing taylor to stand and trade, where he will get eaten alive by the much busier, heavier handed fighter. i hope you remember to pull this thread up when the fight takes place, i enjoy being on the hot seat.
Ramirez being underrated on this board. He impressed me vs Hooker. Great pressuring skill. I think Taylor beats him tho.
people forget how hyped hooker was, no less than either taylor or prograis. he was suppose to be able to do everything taylor can do, with an even bigger physical advantage than taylor would have. taylor is just now getting to le creme of the 140 division, prograis, who ran him nose to nose, was his first test at this level. he passed, sure, getting just enough answers to pass, but ramirez aced his test. i dont see how taylor takes this one. if he proves me wrong, it will be because of something i dont see, so i will be interested in investigating what got past me.
no, prograis is not a brilliant fighter. neither is taylor. they are both below the top tier boxers. i have been saying the same thing for their last 3 fights, and i see nothing to suggest im wrong.
