    Max Baer was a physical phenomenon for his time. He was similar to Wilder in that he used power punching that looked pretty crude to just flatten his opponents. Like Wilder, a good boxer could outbox him for much of the fight ... and then lose.

    Wilder would have destroyed Bruno and Tyson in 1989, Mike really wasn`t that good without Rooney in his corner, there`s no reason Wilder couldn`t catch him the way Bruno did, what special way did Frank set up that hook that Wilder couldn`t? Fury would have boxe Frank`s ears off compared to only outscoring Wilder by about 10 punches or so, just what could Bruno do that Wilder can`t?

    On the biggest stage of his career he ran terrified from Joe Louis. Did not display any heart or will to win.

    Wilder goes out to destroy regardless of who he is fighting. Massive difference between the two.

    Max Baer actually fought great fighters.

    Wilder fights bums, carnival fat men, pastry chefs, soccer hooligans and an angry turtle. No wonder he wants to "destroy" :rolleyes:

    You're right there is a huge difference.

    Really now. Wilder has not ducked anyone and has showed he fears no one.

    Baer was an outright coward when he fought Louis. Who gives a crap what other bums he fought. Please, name the great ones....lol

    Tyson losses: 6
    Holy losses: 10

    So.. maybe he wanna tell us his losses will be 5+6+10=21 at the end of his career.

    Frank Bruno was levels above Wilder, Bruno was out boxing Lewis for a lot of their fight, Wilder gets outboxed by fighters outside the top 20.
