The sad reality is not always about ability more his social media presence and when you have idiots actually telling him he can be a world champion on social media he thinks his self worth in boxing terms is more than it is. He has did well get paydays he has when he could have put more effort in to try improve his abilty. Good luck to him whatever he does personally rather he stuck to lower level or training young fighters which he has spoke of previous

I think he'd be an awful trainer, just my opinion but I can't see him being any good at it, he's training Danny Murell but I'm not sure how that will go.

    Anyway, he's back........

I saw the clip of the lad Danny boxing in the Yorkshire finals. He looks alright tbf certainly looks like Dave Allen has him on the right path and his training him well. The kid has improved loads.

Hope Allen means what he says about giving it one last shot.

    Reality tv awaits him.

I've kept half an eye on that and it does look like the lad is improving, he's still just a teen too, I'm just not sure if Dave Allen will be any good as a coach but I could be very wrong.

The next fight is certainly something I'm not bothered about, either it will be a cash out beating or a British lower level fight to try an build him up again.

And there was me thinking that after witnessing just how fragile David Price really is, Allen would take stock and fcuk off quietly with what’s left of his senses

He's an absolute pest who hides behind the fact he doesn't train properly as an excuse for his failures when the reality is he simply isn't very good.

**** off Dave, your schtick wore thin a very long time ago.

    >One Last Time....

**** off Allen the Dancing Bear.

He's now officially a circus act like Price is. The pair of them seem to be following the same MO of wrapping their tits in and making UK boxing an instagram reality-show tier laughing stock.

If Allen waits around for a bit he will probably get the call from Tyson Fury. Otto Wallin went badly wrong so back to Tom Schwartz level and Allen fits the bill.

I blame Hearn for this and his "last chance saloon" stuff with Price.

How can you blame Dave Allen for this decision? He sees Price get beaten up time and time again, quit, quit, blame circumstances and then be given "one last chance" and pay days.

It's like Eddie Hearn has turned in to DJ Khaled with Price and Allen..

Boxing Fans: "Eddie how many more chances are you giving these consistent losers"

Hearn: "Another one, Another one, Another one".

I'm now calling him Eddie Khaled.

It's the name of the game at the end of the day

Yeah we on ESB would prefer Ruslan Bragodomov vs Orlov Bogdanoff or whatever on the undercards of PPV events but the casual fans who actually buy the PPV just want to see people they know.

Hearns methods work and that's all there is to it.

what I find the craziest part is hearn is saying come back with a tune up fight then he’s been saying after that names like hrgovic Usyk bakolle.

He say he like’s dave yet he’s going to put him in there with them guys Hearn is just milking him that’s part of reason he didn’t want him to fight dubois Hearn wants one of his own fighters to be the one to beat Allen into retirement very sad really.

I'd be quite happy with competitive, honest, hard working, brave fighters that turn up and try their absolute best to win, it could be for a Southern Area Title, it could just be a match up without any sort of title on the line.

My point is, just having a social media following shouldn't qualify any fighter for PPV events or a On Air platform.

And that's all Dave Allen has, a social media following, he licks his grandmothers head and seems like a nice guy, nope, you didn't read that wrong, he licks his grandmothers head in pictures, I don't know why.

He openly admits he doesn't train sometimes, when he fights he barely throws any punches, he just gets hit, walks forward, gets hit, walks forward, gets hit..

That isn't a "fight", it's a circus act, Allen is just a clown getting his face punched in for money and then plays the loveable loser, then gives it a few months, pretends he has learnt the error of his ways, says he has let everybody down, says he will live in the gym and really give boxing a go.

Gets another opportunity, doesn't train, doesn't throw punches in the fight, walks forward, gets hit, walks forward, gets hit, walks forward..

Then plays the loveable loser in an IFL interview, Kugan gives him softball questions, sets him up to come across like a nice guy who is genuinely sorry for another pitiful performance, Kugan wishes him well then Allen flirts with the old "I might just call it a day Kugs"

People rush to twitter because they feel sorry for him, tell him not to quit, get a decent trainer and live in the gym.

And the cycle starts again.. a Kugan interview announcing another fight were Allen will walk forward, get hit, walk forward get hit and once again be the loveable loser.

That isn't boxing, it's WWE, actually it's worse, of course I understand there is a business side to boxing, it's extremely important but Hearn has stretched himself so far with Sky, DAZN and the PPV commitments he is now promoting YouTube fights.

Hearn hasn't got enough boxers to fill the dates really, so he has to recycle Dave Allen, David Price and others and we are expected to buy and support this model.

But we as boxing fans are just as much to blame, we buy this crap, we talk about these jokers, we engage, if we didn't they would be dropped like a steaming hot turd.

Eddie Hearn doesn't give a **** about any of his fighters.

Don't let those fake tears for the camera fool you.

He would let his fighter fight a group of lions inside a cage if it meant it would deliver millions and he could get away with it through some shady loophole.

Saying that I have no sympathy for Allen for when triple D finishes him off for good.

Anyone else noticed how he only seems to hang around with young lads? Pretty weird. You would expect someone like him to always have a nice looking bird on his arm, but that never seems to be the case. Not even when he goes to the big shows. Anyone looked at his social media lately? There are two videos of a young lad about 16 or 17, one is of Allen getting him to do muscle poses with his top off and the other is of them out for a meal together. There is something very fruity about him if you ask me.
