You have to live in Japan or know someone who has. The Japanese like Americans and can be one of the most polite group of people you ever meet. However, they have a deep antipathy toward China and Korea; some might say, racists. What does this mean for boxing? Everything if you can find two evenly matched boxers. Japan vs. Korea, or Japan vs. China. Inoue is a lower weight Godzilla.
Mostly because he hasn't fought another monster in the division. Ok, Mcdonell, Payano and Rod are good.To me they don't offer explosive firepower. But not i would consider dangerous. Donaire is shot but is probably the most dangerous opponent he is in with.
He’s a tough son of a gun. I’m a huge fan of Juan Carlos Payano and really really enjoyed some of his older fights. Seen him around in South Florida before. Inoue dispatching him in one round the way he did definitely shocked the hell outta me
Kono is a badass in my book. Fought Inoue when he didn't have to, and gave everything in the ring. Also interesting on the man Inoue admits 'complete defeat' to. As an amateur, this guy seemed to beat him quite conclusively, though Naoya was only 17. Very interesting.
