And Pac is on a collision course with Floyd ... I know that Floyd is retired but that doesn't mean anything. Pac is very marketable and is moving at an alarming rate.

Pac is faster than 95% of the lightweight and junior welterweight division's best.

I think that once he takes on the winner of Hatton v Malignaggi or fight Hatton and have Paulie step aside, he's going to be the front runner to challenge Floyd in 09' - despite what Cotto does against Margarito and or DLH.

Pac is a bigger draw that Cotto and can produce more money than Cotto in a PPV fight.

The longer this goes on and the more championship that Pacquiao gets - the more people are going to believe that Pac has a chance against PBF.

As long as he carries his speed and power at 147, then its very possible.

What do you guys think now?

No way. If Floyd comes out of retirement to fight Pac that would be disgraceful

Paulie vs Hatton fight is already signed. Pacman would have to wait till 09 if he wants Hatton. He should fight the winner of Campbell vs Guzman or JMM vs Casamayor.

A fight vs Pac would not be a disgrace ... if Pac wins another title at a higher weight class -- **** anything can happen.

if he fights the winner of Pac v Mali ... and happens to knock them out then i'm sure that Arum would set up a true mega fight between the two and unlike DLH ... the speed would be balanced and the power would be evident.

I disagree .... I think that fight would be amazing.

    Pac is the new p4p #1 ... on a path of greatness ... going for a 5th paper title (at 140) ....

Pac is done with lightweight ... he will vacate that title ...

I'm sure that the public would want to see Mayweather v Pacquiao at a catch weight to see who's the best of this era.

    sorta like Tyson v Lewis

You're such a ****ing ******. I don't think I've ever agreed with a damn thing you've ever said. Pac beats some C level lightweight and now you've got him jumping 2 weight divisions to face the best fighter in the world?!

    What a *******. :verysad

Don't get too excited, let Pac let this fight sink in. You sounded a little like Pacdbest. I'm excited for him, but let him talk it over with his management before everyone jumps into conclusions. My guess is that he is not going to wait til 2009 to fight again. Bradley maybe?

He during the pre fight pressers that he planned on moving up in weight ... he said that he was naturally 150 pounds and that he spars against 150 pounders.

Roach also said that Pac seems stronger as he goes up in weight and that his boxing is getting better.

Are you going against their word??

Power will always stay with you. Sparring and actually fighting are two seperate things. Roach will say anything, he has a hot fighter in his hands.

Damn you must get dumber by the day.

There is a MASSIVE difference to facing Diaz at 135, as opposed to Mayweather at 147, two divisions higher, and ten times better skill wise.

    Ridiculous.

Pac said he won't go above 140, so it would have to be at 140.

The fight will be at a catch weight ... it wouldn't be at the 147 lb limit ... it would be somewhere in between.

I'm sure Pac would jump at the opportunity to make a cool 20m to fight PBF win or lose.

If Pac beats Floyd that makes places him an all-time Top 10. But that will never happen. Pac should never consider fighting anybody that currently competes at 147 pounds and above. He'd lose to Mayweather, Cotto, and De La Hoya just from the size difference. But this was the best we've seen Pacquiao, even better than the Pacquiao that fought Morales in the rematch and rubbermatch. He'd win against Hatton, but for him to fight Mayweather would only be for the money.
