    Are they going to give it to Kov with these kinds of rounds though? I had Kovalev winning both rounds, but he's not landing any huge flush shots.

    Álvarez is walking forward, still in hedgehog mode. Kovalev pecks at his carapace with jabs and strings together a few straight combos, trying to sneak the right over the back of Canelo's left wrist in breaking ball fashion to clip his chin. Álvarez is defending very adroitly, but only countering sporadically and getting outworked and controlled with the jab - and doesn't yet have a consistent answer to stop that Kovalev right from bypassing his guard when he draws it closed.

    2nd round for Alvarez. Still a very close round but I feel Alvarez blocked a lot of Kovalev’ jabs and punches. Alvarez landed some good body shots and caught Kovalev a few times. Good fight so far!.
