    Álvarez is barging in, catching the jab of Kovalev on his guard as usual, but now drumming on the body of Kovalev with both hands and then stepping out to reset and then ratchet up the line drive lead right at the head of Kovalev. The stepped-up activity of Álvarez plus the changing of altitudes seems to be discomfiting Kovalev, who slows his own offensive output and even ties up a bit.

    10-9 Álvarez, his first really successful round.

    Round 6 for Alvarez. Not sure, but it somehow looks like Kovalev is slowly showing signs of fatigue. Not much done from Kovalev that round and Alvarez kept the pressure up, landed some good shots.
