    Álvarez is showing the Kovalev jab less respect now, letting it nudge into the pinky edge of his gloves while plowing in, still at that steady first-gear march, ripping big hooks at the chin of Kovalev when he gets to about medium-close range and then ducking in to flurry on the body. Kovalev is backing straight up and hoping to walk Álvarez onto a 1-2. Kovalev giving away the play, as far as generalship.
