    Kovalev with a nice right hand, but Álvarez partially rolls with it. Álvarez is trotting in, and Kovalev tries staving him off with straight & uppercut flurries reaching in. Álvarez tries dashing in and slapping up top with that high wide left hook, but Kovalev is able to catch it on the back of his right arm, then shoot a quick straight right down the pipe as Álvarez squats and reverses. Kovalev in control once again with the jab, pursuing Álvarez around the ring, making him hop on his toes from corner to corner.

    6-2 Kovalev. Canelo trying to change strategy half way through thr 8th, and instead of throwing nothing moving forward, he threw nothing moving backwards trying to walk Kovalev on to something.
