Kovalev dominated bar a couple of rounds.

Either way the cards are irrelevant as Canelo smoked his ass.

Canelo was not doing enough to win rounds, IMO.

Until the end of the fight, I can't think of one good punch Canelo landed. That's ok, but if you are throwing far less volume and catching volume from the opponent it's tough to win rounds.

We've seen fighters who pot shot and steal rounds. I don't think Canelo was in that zone tonight. Volume too low and punches were doing nothing until Round 11. Of course, the judges disagreed. But just watching the fight, it looked like a mismatch for 10 rounds.

You spent the last two months screaming from rooftops that this fight is NOT a cherry pick.

Kovalev was supposed to fold Canelo up nice and cute like a chair.

Canelo is a true great, signed sealed delivered. Keep saying otherwise and you keep digging the hole for yourself deeper. That goes for the lot of you, not just CST by any means at all. And that goes for years now, not just today.

Canelo either fights Beterbiev next or he can go F his mother.

GGG at 168 is completely pointless, nobody cares, GGG isn't knocking him out so he isn't beating him.

This just in, the commission has declared Canelo's loss to Mayweather a no contest, and has ordered a re-match in Mexico City on May 5th.

It may have looked like patty cakes, but I assure you it wasn’t. Which is why Alvarez backed off most of the fight and didn’t freely engage. Every time Kovalev landed on him, he quickly slowed down his aggression and decided to be patient instead. As Kovalev gassed, he quickly started to step up till he eventually caught him cold.

I'm pretty sure he said 165 in the post fight interview.

    In the ring, yes.

It's outside the ring where this fight gets a bit embarrassing.

I also said, as a caveat, if Kovalev loses, it's because he's shot. Go back and check. You passive aggressive creep.

    1. Failed drug test

    2. Hasn't fought a single top level fighter in their prime his entire career, his entire damn career....

You'll never convince me or @CST80 that Canelo is a great fighter.

Beating and over the hill old fighter that didn't even have enough time to prepare for the fight, and was further weakened with a rehydration clause is no sign of greatness.

The people behind Canelo are undoubtedly corrupt, but that doesn't change the fact that Canelo is a great, great fighter.
