    Canelo is beneficiary of corruption and A side BS, robberies galore, yet you have the audacity to claim him as superior. Your standards for success are so pathetically low, what a shame. An old Kovalev fighting with a rehydration clause was expected to lose.

    The fight looked a bit fishy to me. Kovalev was just sparring him and was happy to loose.

    Who did they fight? How did the fights go? Resume is everything.

    Canelo seems to take the cake. He is the best at present, that is for sure. His list of #1 and top 3 ranked opponents is unmatched.

    Lets judge the era in entirety after the fact, though.

    People saying "what about Lomo?!" well personally I think Lomo may have a ways to go to catch Roman Gonzalez. Speaking of Roman, he shows up in this conversation, debatable between Canelo and him. Ward gets a nod too.

    Finally, level headed. Someone acknowledges Gonzalez as well.

    I would pick him over Canelo IMO. Truly great fighter.
