You could say that if it was 10/1 but the poll is showing 50/50. Obviously, there is something to this.
Never watched the fight, just followed the thread on here, but after reading this about the KO, I watched the KO on YouTube, and to me it was definitely a legit KO, legs were wobbly before he went down, was taking punishment leading up to the KO. Can not see how people are saying it was a dive. Can definitely see how people can say Canelo was on PED’s though.
It's not really just the punches. They could set that up, and Kov could drop his guard a little or something. It was everything leading up to it. It was Kovalev not punching Canelo hard which was weirdest of many weird things. You can't just look at those final punches to determine if this was a fixed fight.

Right, but what you are missing is that the punch can be real. The reaction can be real. And it's still a dive. When the time comes for you to go down, you drop your hands and take the punch.
Obvious dive. Kovalev all of a sudden forgot how to box? Forgot he had a right hand after the third? Canelo gassed in the 8th but Kovalev didn't press his advantage? Kovalev chases down his opponent when he smells blood even to his own detriment - but he lets Canelo off the hook because reasons? This was a clear and obvious work by the brilliant minds at Golden Boy and Kovalev's camp. Canelo doesn't have a legit win at LHW. GTFOH with that garbage "fight".

It’s that first punch that I find questionable, that put him on wobbly legs. I’m not saying it wasn’t legit though, but I was surprised that it hurt him. What I will say is the commentary in the UK was embarrassing. They’d have you believe that it was 50/50 up until the KO.
In late rounds Canelo was cornered and was tired, then Kovalev backed away for no reason. I thought "WTF???". 100% dive.
