The thing is the whole fight was so weird that if you were willing to place money on it you’d need to factor in that it almost felt like a testimonial. Ref gives a penalty in the last minute, tells the keeper which way to dive and the hero of the day comes on to score. I can’t remember a fight which seemed so geared towards giving someone a send off. Don’t get me wrong; makes a mockery of the sport as a professional contest. But I think anyone could have seen what was likely to happen last night had Crolla not won clearly.
I cant believe Linardatou and her team think she was robbed. She put up a good fight and was strong as a bull and made KT work for her win but no way did she win the fight.
