What next for Sergey Kovalev?

Retirement.

 

Last 8 fights =4-4 stopped 3x. Retire.

 

If he continues, he will be officially reduced to gatekeeper. The guy with a name, but no longer has that flame.

 

He is physically and mentally done. Got problems inside and outside the ring. He better retire.

 

Retire and maybe make a Vodka

 

I'd love to see him against Badou Jack or Gvozdyk. I think he needs to take 6-8 months off, do some yoga, regroup, and give it 1 more shot. the ending of tonites fight was very suspicious. especially Kovalev's post fight interview, where he was laughing and said, yeah I got tired, but I'll be back to get the belts...

 

I knew he is cashing out for retirement fight. He was retired since a week ago.

 

Tbh, i would like to see him once more just to see if he still wont throw a single power punch in 12 rounds.

 

I will tell you whats next. He will take them 12 million and go to Russia to evade american courts justice so he doesnt have to pay and do time. (He will not pay a dime mark my words )

He can be proud for what he has achieved .

Retirement hopefully. However, he signed a 2 fight extension contract with DAZN so he may appear on an undercard somewhere. DAZN still may give him a 7 figure payday per fight as he has the name recognition.....but his days as a top fighter heading top billing are 10000% done.

 

Not a long career, but he did well for himself. Kovale Vodka!!

 

10year career with 39fights under his belt, pretty standard.
