Canelo isn't the best body puncher in the game. Rungvisai is a better body puncher and he's not even a very good boxer. Spence might be a better body puncher. Who else?

Rungivasai isn't gonna carry his power to 122. And Inoue is the only guy who is close.

You mean to tell me that a champion boxer with a fearsome reputation is afraid to throw punches with weight on them? You don't become a become a champion being afraid of counters.

Doesn't have to be the Russians, although I can see them fight fixing. Why not the Mexican cartels? Surely, some of them are fans of Canelo? There's no shortage of crooks in this world. Like someone already mentioned, Kovalev is having financial and legal trouble. Maybe, they offered to help him make his problems go away?

He's got that assault case going to trial in three weeks, after all.

He was trying to play it safe exactly like he did against Eleider. Jab a lot and try not to gas. It's the old guy game that McGirt developed for him.

The Mexican Cartel delivered two kilos to Kovalev's face in the 11th round last night.

He wasn't landing power shots because he had all the timing of a stopped watch. Kovalev managed to navigate 10 rounds because his boxing skills made up for this obvious flaw - you don't have to time a jab like other punches, you can deploy and redeploy. Eventually, Canelo got to him and delivered a brutal, GENUINE, knock out.

Seriously, why do we always have to deal with baseless claims about fights? A prime highly-skilled boxer beat a faded great. Props to Canelo for doing something very few expected - stopping the Krusher.

Callum Smith and Andrade are probably the front runners.

You can't fake it like Kovalev did, if he faked it there'd be some kind of tell, either some exaggerated movement or an unnaturally quick/late reaction. When he got clipped the first time, he reacted exactly how you would react in a hurt situation. I'm not so much worried about the knockdown, rather the first punch that had him on ***** street, and for me that was enough to see that he was definitely 100% legit hurt.

The knockdown itself did look somewhat dramatic and if it was just that, I'd see why someone might question it but the lead up is what sold it to me. I think the reason he went down like that was just because he was obviously tired and his legs just gave in instantly after already being hurt.

    How's this theory for you?

Kovalev and Canelo worked out a deal where the fight would end in a draw and then they could rematch next year. And judging by the scorecards, it wasn't out of the question.

But Kovalev was so shot to absolute dog****. He got KTFO by mistake.

Yes, because kovalev is a rock, isnt it? he never was put to the ground before. Specially in those last rounds, because his stamina is legendary, it's not that he's an alcoholic vodka adict with the gass tank full of vodka. And those last two punches are not that they were clean and neat, they were phantom punches, isnt it?

Idiots, everbody and his mom knew how this fight was going to be developed. Basically everybody in this forum with the least clue about this sport predicted the outcome. That's how staged it was.

******ed grown up men incapable of dealing with a sport result, with the emotional tools of a 8 yo boy. Pretty much this forum is garbage. 5 people who know a lot, and the rest of scumbags who cannot deal even with their own feeling.
