It's like printing money betting on Saul. One of the very few practically guaranteed sporting pay outs. Also, I have no dog in the fight with either. It's FAF watching Saul fanbois cry about how biased people are, it's literally the height of irony.
Spot on bro. We have seen Krusher hurt before but WOW not this badly. Big Red almost killed the guy and for him to even have the ability to put words together after the KO was a miracle. GOD BLESS THAT TAINTED MEAT
Looked a genuine knockout to me... Exactly what I said would happen.... Except I said bodyshot ko... Kovalev is shot... Its been obvious for abit... The scourge of the lightheavyweight division has been gone for some time.... Kept at the top of the sport by an elite jab... Everything else was that bit slower to react. And he still should've been up on the scorecards.... Expect canelo vs beterbiev to unify in 2023
I don’t think so bro. Dude is 36 had little to zero breaks between camps and just got sparked by the young MEAT man. Krusher showed too much respect to Canelo yet I had him winning on the cards until the KO
That's the amazing thing about fixing a fight. There are as many ways to do it as there are to win legitimately. Everybody who thinks this fight was on the up and up think Canelo would have pulled his punches and Kovalev would have to start reciting Shakespeare for it to be fake. Sure, that's how you'd do it if you wanted to get caught. It doesn't occur to any of them that Kovalev might have agreed to play act for ten rounds and then let Canelo knock him out. They're probably the same guys who think if you bribe judges then they should give you every round on the scorecards. But a smart guy would have the judges just give him every close round, or contrive to have him up by a point or two at the end. A wide score draws attention to itself. Even better to win on a split decision. These people have no imagination for cheating. I'm disgusted. Personally, I don't respect hardly anybody's opinion here about fight fixing. How many of you even have any experience fixing a fight? Most people DKSAFF.
Buddy, had Kovalev fighting the wrong fight. Canelo is like a little bull in there. You can't have Kovalev just pumping the jab and taking mustard off of his shots because you are worried about him gassing. Kovalev needed to go out there at least for two or three rounds, and be the Krusher. Throw hard shots, gain Canelo's respect. Even if he was punching guard, punch through it, make Canelo know that you pack a wallop. Canelo actually reacted like he was buzzed from that one right hand that landed in the second half of the fight. The commentators noted that Canelo seemed to be taking the round off. Usually when a guy gets hit, then moves backwards most of the rest of the round, it's because he was hurt by the shot. Anyway, impressive stuff from Canelo. He gives up height, but his defense has developed into one of the best defenses in boxing. He is extremely hard to hit, and his stamina was on point as well. He's truly developed into a pound for pound talent. It will take a special opponent, or one that is just too big and strong to beat Canelo. He says he'd fight Beterbiev, I'd watch.
Caught up in the moment and frustrated with the fight, angry because of the UFC delay, I thought it MIGHT have been a dive. But watching it again today, it looks legit. This content is protected
I want to see super slow mo. Kovalev Krash test dummy. Canelo is P4P#1 but I still think it could be a fix imho
The commentators and refs declared it over so fast it's like it's been speeded up. His acting while on the ropes is so OTT. DeNiro isn't having any sleepless nights put it that way.
What did Canelo do defensively that really impressed you? What made him look like the second coming of Willie Pep?
Then why look bad from the start of it leading to the KO. If it was a 5th. round stoppage and canelo came out an looked amazing you might have a case... But he looked terrible and kova looked much more improved
