Bivol or Jermall Charlo at 168.

Find where I said these things, just like I found a quote of you claiming that Kovalev's superior stamina would take over last night's fight and force a stoppage in his favor.

You are saying Adelaide Byrd knows more about boxing than them? :eyepop:

Her card was **** but it goes to show how much room there was to score the fight for Canelo and the draw was reasonable. Much like last night, clean effective punching was a dominant scoring criteron back then too.

    I don't think Canelo ever see's 160lbs again.

After the body gets a taste of not killing itself to make weight, there is no going back.

And why would he? He's not fighting Andrade, huge risk with small reward. The promoters have zero interest in making the Charlo fight. Canelo has less than zero interest in a GGG trilogy. Middleweight is over.

Surprised nobody has bothered checking the ratings but Zurdo is now Canelo's mandatory for the WBO at 175lbs...
That's easily the biggest draw that he can make right now.

The picture isn't very rosy at 168 either. Callum Smith is his mandatory. That guy is 3inches taller than Kovalev and a MUCH liver body. Does he dare go with Billy Joe Saunders? That's even more risky and less rewarding that Andrade at 160lbs. No.

If they can't make Zurdo happen I think they'll stay busy with Jacobs at 168lbs.

It seems like there's tons of options on the table....but there really isn't

He should rematch rocky fielding.... Rocky took a dive first time

Now he's got a few quid in his pocket he will use his power to beat alvarez ass!

Or fight beterbiev.... Now.... Not before he's too old

He avoided Derevyanchenko to fight Kovalev. Sure buddy boy.

And Jacobs clearly beat Derevyanchenko in a close fight.

How can you say Benevidez needs to build his rep more, but act like Smith has beaten guys of note? Smith's best win is Froch's shopworn leftovers.

Pointless. Could just fight GGG for more money and recognition instead.

Jack vs. Pascal winner is the smartest "easyish money" option.

    1. That isn’t what I said if you read it more closely.
    2. Benevidez is Mexican but hasn’t really tapped into that market as well as Smith is infiltrating the UK market.

Fair enough. UK promotions are notorious for getting their homegrown mediocre fighters maximum exposure. I can agree with you on that.

He got stripped due to not wanting to fight him, whether it was DLH’s fault or both that’s the truth.

And of yesterday’s performance Derevyanchenko would be the harder challenge.

While fighting Kovalev two weights above is on paper much more risky than fighting Derevyanchenko at 160, the reward for beating chenko couldn't be lower and he is prime and dangerous
