I take back my Callum Smith beats Canelo prediction.

That same was said before Canelo fought GGG, Jacobs, and Kovalev. They keep adding names to the list and Canelo keeps beating them. LOL!

 

I think Canelo beats Smith.

He’s too defensively sound and versatile for Smith, size and punch power would be negated in this fight.

 

I picked Canelo to KO Kovalev. After seeing him deal with Kova’s range, I’d favour Smith to beat Canelo right now.

That said, a 178 lbs rehydration clause might make it interesting.

 

There are no more easy touches between 168lb and 175lbs now for Canelo.

He either drains back down again to 160lbs (a weight he has not seen since the day of the Jacobs weigh-in) for a third GGG fight or he tries to go for more belts at 168lbs or 175lbs.

My guess is that 168lbs is where he will go again next and try and impose hydration clauses on Callum Smith etc....

Hoping he grows enough balls for Beterbiev though.

I always pick the underdog in the polls LOL, but I never believe it regardless.

 

Yep same as me I had money on Kov but Canelo proved he is an apex predator

 

I never thought he would win until he jumped on the scales at 174.5 looking ripped to the max.. Kov looked like a skinny white boy waiting for the bully to take his lunch money..

Hopefully Canelo stay in his right division instead of weigh bullying the lower division...
