I didnt score the fight, but the Mexican broadcast I watched had Kovalev up 2 rounds going into last round

 

6-4 going into the 11th for Kovalev.

 

You don't have to score the fight. Nobody could beat Canelo by decisions. This is the fact! If the fight had gone to 12 rounds Canelo would have won it.

 

I didn't bother scoring. The judges fill out their score cards for Canelo before the fight anyway.
I guess Kovalev should have been way ahead, but if he made it to the final bell, he was going to get robbed.

 

The offcials judges had 6-4, 6-4 and 5-5 for Canelo. I had a close fight did not bother with this but if you go minute by minute I think Kovalev is winning because Canelo was very cautious and perhaps stealing rounds with a good counter. Compubox had Kovalev throwing more and landing about the same if I am correct. Close fight until the dramatic end. I had my money on Kovalev and a potential draw. I am upset Kovalev could not finish on his feet giving his absolutely enormous size. When the fight began I was surprised he looked even bigger than expected compared to the smaller Canelo.

The commentary and the punch stats was pure comedy. I couldn’t take the fight serious. Especially after watching a skilled technician like Jorge masvidal. It was a canelo fight though. My expectations weren’t much.
