He fought well in the first 10 rounds but just made a mistake in round 11.

Do we need to hear all the same bull again?

    Do we really? No.

Canelo finished him. Lets all move on.

C'mon man! The fight was close until the TKO came in round 11. The rematch was not BS. But I didn't mean the immediate rematch. Kovalev should try to be the World Champion again before taking the rematch.

    if he takes a rematch 1) don't fight a few weeks before 2) no clauses 3) don't get ko'd .

He is done. He is nothing more than a gatekeeper, a 'name' to KTFO for resumes of up and comers.

Sad but true. He should just retire.

Canelo said in several interviews that he wants to be retired before turning 35, because at that age most fighters deteriorate and are not the same anymore.. yes folks he specializes in facing opponents at an age where he himself wants to be retired LOL

Yet, you think Calzaghe’s win over Hopkins is serious business.

Calzaghe was 36. Canelo is prime..

Calzaghe also faced two prime undefeated rivals in Kessler & Lacy.

I do actually enjoy the banter with you though regardless..

Calzaghe's win over Hopkins was a great accomplishment. It certainly wasn't a dominant performance, but anyone who can get inside Bhops head and take him off his gameplan deserves all the credit in the world. Hopkins also went on to do great things after that fight, regaining the title and defeating a whole slew of top rated young guns who had significant age advantages over him.
No need to disparage a great win by Calzaghe

Calzaghe was old himself when he faced Hopkins.
