Well I think when these things happened, basically I didn't join the bandwagon and just start hating on Canelo like a good amount of this board did. So now you're saying all the hate on Canelo was my fault because I didn't agree with it, because I challenged people who were hating on him? That's a little much, I mean the hate was there to begin with, based on what happened. Like vacating the belt, mainly as really that had an effect going into the first Canelo GGG fight and affected people's scoring of it, becuase they believed Canelo dropped the belt to avoid fighting GGG. So going into when they did fight many posters on here carried that stuff with them into the fight and it surely contributed to their biased scoring of that for GGG. Oh and the Byrd card only fueled things further. Did those I challenged hate of Canelo increase when I challenged their views? Some may have but acting like I was the source of the hate? And I mean if I carry that much influence around here to where I singlehandedly caused people to hate Canelo, then wow. I mean if you go back to when Canelo vacated the belt for example, I didn't just defend it. The hate really started there because GGG fans went on this whole "Canelo is scared to fight GGG" crusade. And really that ended up fitting right in to the "Mexican Style" stuff. I think if you're gonna credit me for anything it's holding people accountable for what they are saying. People don't like being called out when they're wrong.

To me Canelo is just a very very good basic fighter with an excellent chin. He is nowhere near Floyd when it comes to skills.
Floyd was on the top of his game with a career of experience behind him. Canelo was not experienced at the highest level yet, and was drained at a catchweight. So his skillset still had not been refined like it is now. It wasn't easy for Floyd to beat him. He only was able to beat him because he trained so hard and stacked the deck against him so hard at the negotiations table.
