really not something I bother with, the fight was amazing and itself will no doubt increase the numbers they do int he future. I have no idea what the fighters were paid or anything to know if this was a good amount of numbers or that?
Probably more than expected. No one really knows who taylor or Prograis are cause they ain’t heavyweights. I bought the fight, first ppv I’ve bought in years, my mates came over for it but had zero interest in the boxing
Doesnt this and the Loma v Campbell numbers just show that this 'hardcore' audience many love to shout about isnt as big as people like to think. I think both numbers are fine but when you have people who decry 'casual' fans thinking they are everything wrong with boxing I do wonder how they can be the bad guys here. The more people that watch the sport surely the better.
Would of been far less if Chisora wasn't on the card. Still seems quite decent but what would I know.
I would be interested to know what percentage of that 176k bought it for Chisora. I was at the fight, and it was remarkable just how empty the arena was for the main event in comparison to the Chisora fight.
Reality is, nobody outside of proper boxing fans would know Taylor or Prograis. “Nobody cares about little guys anymore”, Chisora had a point.
i was at the fight and i have no idea what you are talking about, the crowd was the same size for both co and main event
Sure https://www.boxinginsider.com/headlines/whyte-vs-rivas-sells-289000-ppvs/ Oh shoot, woops... sorry that's Dillians PPV success... wrong link!
Its a shame really Good fight but little interest Hardcores keep boxing alive Casuals make it flourish Facts
How was the stream mate? I had a load of problems for Loma-Campbell with having to download that app, to the point where I got refunded.
