Who wins if this went down ? Love to see Ward come out of retirement and school him.

Ward clinches Alvarez to oblivion and then comes up short on the fixed scorecards.

Ward takes him to primary school, unfortunately for ward Oscar and B hop have already filled the cards in for a split decision win for canelo.

I think Ward puts on a smothering masterclass and wins a wide split decision.

Ward would completely school him, alvarez only chance is outworking him and he can't do that especially at the higher weights. Ward jabs his head off and spoils if he feels he has to when canelo gets close. Hard to see any scenario in which ward loses tbh.

Ward is just a winner every department, can mix it, is a great boxer, happy to do the dirty stuff, the real total package at his peak

I imagine it to be similar to a Hopkins vs Trinidad.
Canelo is more skilled than Trinidad but Ward is a lot quicker and stronger than Hopkins.

Ward was struggling by his own admission to make 175 when he was fighting Kovalev, could he actually make 175?

Canelo imo is the better fighter, however, this Canelo v the Ward that beat Kovalev in the rematch loses on points however Canelo beats Ward now.

Ward could win this but I reckon Golden Boy would ensure Ward is DQ'd for any borderline tactics.

    They wish...

The rightfully Arrogant Andre Ward will rather die in poverty with his family ... than let lesser people watch him lose

Does the ref allow oakland ward to hit clenboy in the nuts and head but him into oblivion in vegas or
Does clen leave vegas to fight the oakland native in his own town with the cards not firmly in place
This fight as so much catch 22 in it
See if no concessions makes some concessions
    To the wanting concessions kid
    Ummmm

Ward would win decision he was an exceptional fighter but lets not pretend he never lost a round or never took a shot, Canelo is a fantastic boxer himself and I have no doubt there would be at least a few "lively" rounds during the 12. I'm talking prime for prime here.

If you are talking about NOW. after 30 months retirement, aged 35 and with Ward last time he returned needing a few fights to shake off the rust, hell I'd have to favour canelo.

I know that's gonna be unfashionable but I'm being realistic
