Is canelo the biggest cherry picker in the game?

Canelo waited until he was 35 and only fought him because people said he was avoiding him, he probably lost both fights as well. I am not a GGG fan before you throw that at me, anyway that is one name you have come up with and he was mid thirties, not exactly in his prime. Did your school report ever say must do better?

I have said this several times. Rocky Fielding was NOT the WBA champion Callum Smith is, who Canelo seems intent to avoid. He beat GGG on 2 ' dodgy decisions ' is being overly fair and now beats a Kovelev who fought like a mummy and looked 10 years past his prime. Canelo gets further ans further away from p4p 1 with these stupid fights. Actually fight someone who can hit back you cheat

Don't matter if he was in his mid 30s. Mayweather was past his mid 30s when he beat him easily. Prime isn't determined by your age. Canelo will not be in his prime at 35 , he probably won't even be fighting any more by then.

Canelo fought Golovkin who was MW champ and was heavily favored to win both fights. Only an absolute fool and bottom feeder would call those fights cherry picks.

As i said before, how would Canelo have done against Calzaghe , Hopkins or Jones at SMW or LHW, its a poor era in those divisions these days. The easiest fight for Canelo would be Hopkins and he would still lose almost every round

I didn't call them two fights cherry picks but he did avoid him for a few years. I am definitely calling fielding and kovalev cherry picks though, anyone who thinks that was a good kovalev doesn't know **** because he didn't throw a punch in anger, prime kovalev didn't fight so timid.

Talking about fighters in their mid thirties how many were in their prime at that age, even mayweather was past his best, I remember loads of so called experts saying canelo would beat him. Canelo only took that fight because he thought mayweather was getting old, a cherry pick gone wrong.

Did you make a similar list of wins needed to garner "genuine kudos" from "real boxing people" for Loma or just canelo

Hard to throw with anger when you are scared to death of getting countered to the body which after the fight he confirmed was the reason he didn't throw the right hand

One question ?? How is Clenelo going to LEGALLY lose over 20 pounds to get back down to 160 ??? How has he legally gained the weight to fight at 175?? Sad part is he must be devastating his own body doing is & will have to pay the price in his health

I have said this before mate and usually get shouted down, Its possible to gain 24 pounds in weight in 8 weeks if you are just stuffing burgers and doing sod all, But to gain that in the time AND be hugely muscled, its so freaking obvious he is juicing, tests or no tests, the guy is an out and out cheat. And yes i would say it to his face :)

Scared to death, that is not what I'd expect to hear from a prime light heavyweight killer when fighting a blown up middleweight.

Canelo didn't pick Khan, Khan picked him. You can't cherry-pick someone when he picked you!

It's a fair point. I mean, you have more of an argument that Fielding was a cherry-pick than Khan. Canelo didn't seek out Khan. Khan wasn't even on their radar. Amir called up GBP and asked for the fight. In what world is that a cherry pick? Besides the public wanted to see Khan fight Mayweather just the year before. If Khan is good enough to fight Floyd then how the hell is he a cherry pick for Canelo? That logic makes zero sense.
