Why does noone answer my question? How would Canelo do at SMW or LHW against Jones, Hopkins and Calzaghe? to me he loses all 3 easily . Hopkins is his best chance but that is very slim. Hence my point, these 'titles' he has won have been against the worst

Exactly!! what it boils down to in my opinion is Bob Bennett & the NSAC , Vegas Boxing officials, Oscar dela Fishnets took a pretty good tough fighter & MANUFACTURED him into a Superstar. They have convinced so many gullible fans into believing he really is one of the greatest champions ever & practically unbeatable. To me the corruption has been blatant because they have no reason to try to hide it because Who is going to do anything about it?? The State Commission ?? ROFL
That has made Canelo & all of the others very rich in the process BUT has also done irreparable damage to the sport of Boxing
Just my personal take on this but I must confess the amount of support among fans who agree with this has amazed me
Sad thing is what can we do about it ???????
Just one further point Sarge I'd call him a cheat to his face to as long as I had my old buddy Tex Cobb close by LOL

Canelo might have knocked out Calslappy. Both ancient Hopkins and ancient Jones knocked him down in the first round. A prime Canelo hits a hell of a lot harder than they did when they fought Joe. That was also I think a more beatable Joe so if we're talking a younger Joe that would be harder for Canelo to beat. Calzaghe could win rounds on Canelo much like Kovalev did with activity but unlike Kovalev Canelo wouldn't be as worried about Joe's power and wouldn't need the high guard up as much. Canelo Calzaghe I think would be a 50/50 fight, I could see Calzaghe get knocked down or knocked out but he also could outpoint Canelo as his speed is pretty comparable to Canelo's at least the slightly slower version of Canelo at LHW.

If we're takling about Prime Jones before he went up to HW does anyone in boxing history beat Jones at that time? I don't think Canelo could either, but it'd be fun to watch. Canelo Hopkins would be a chess match what makes that an even fight is Hopkins wasn't a fighter who threw a lot of punches so in a way that suits Canelo. I would expect a low output chess match there. Could Canelo hurt Hopkins with big shots or could Hopkins fight off the backfoot and make Canelo chase him? That would be fun to watch but Canelo would have a better shot vs Hopkins than he would vs Prime Jones. Prime Jones at LHW was practically unbeatable.

Canelo is a blown up middleweight now? I can't tell if the guy cuts down from 190 or bulks up from 160. I guess whichever version supports your narrative.

No matter how good kovalev is/was he knows he's vunerable to a good body puncher and canelo gave him plenty to worry about

These guys are still rattled by what transpired on Saturday. Its a sight to behold.

Have we ever seen so many Anti-Canelo threads before?

I think you have an unhealthy fascination with Lomachenko.

If you've got a list you want to see, or an axe to grind, start a thread.

Yes, Fielding was also a cherry pick, one of several. GGG picked Canelo for September, somehow that didn't work, strange. Canelo, obviously, can't be picked! That's where all this a side BS comes from. Again, he does the picking. This has nothing to do with Floyd (also: weightclasses!!!).

Canelo is way to slow to have caught 'calslappy' and he would have had the balls to fight anyway unless he challenges hime now/ Jones and and hopkins prime? no chance. You clearly havent seen prime of any of them

So other then Mayweather and Ward, Has any fighter had to have the decked stacked so much is his favour? You say anti Canelo ? We just want him to fight a legit champion outside of America? all the other greats did it.

    Of course.

    Pacquiao immediately comes to mind.

Pacquiao consistently demanded catch weights for Cotto, Mosley, Margarito, De La Hoya, Juan Manuel Marquez and made Morales come down in weight as well.

Also, for many years Pacquiao would not take a fight id random testing was stipulated.

There is also the controversy with his wrappings.

There is also the time when he was gifted decisions over JMM, and in the third fight where Arum apologized to JMM saying it was "business".

None of which is proven AND he still fought far away from home, So my question still stands?? When did Floyd or Ward fight far away from home??. Stop this " money blah blah" They never had the guts to and THATS why they arent ATGs

    What?? Proven?

There are tons of articles showing that Pacquiao demanded catchweights for all those fights.

Dude, who gives two shits if they fought outside of home or not, what matters is who they fought.

Usually when someone has 50 fights at middleweight or below and then moves up to light heavyweight for a fight I would say that was a blown up middleweight, are we not allowed to say that because it's canelo.
