7/10 in overall skills. Very good defensively but quite poor offensively. Fury does have tremendous movement for a man of his size and his upper body movement is very evasive. He also feints alot (too much imo) which gives a good impression that he is winning fights comfortably. A good example is the Wilder fight, jerked and feinted a lot without doing anything much offensively. This coupled with his hands behind his back gives the impression that he won every round apart from the 2 he got KD. Anyone who gives Fury 10/11 of those 12 rounds doesn't know sh*t about boxing. Offensively, he has a pawing but effective jab. He doesn't throw power shots with correct form and they are delivered more like slaps than anything where he's twisted his body and extended his arms to get full power on his shots. He's also not that accurate but his different angles do present opportunities to land cleanly. If he improved offensively he would be higher than a 7, but I still believe when he fights someone who can box and doesn't get thrown off by his feints he will come unstuck.
Maybe Fury is not a master of technique but he has mastery of it imo. He was the only fighter seen fighting with Wilder who could afford to tease him around during the fight without appearing coc*ky.
He looked poor vs Wallin. Maybe 3 out of 10. Wladimir was old and Wilder was outboxed even by Shpilka.
Depends what you describe as technical. You wouldn't teach Fury's style to a youngster getting in to boxing. It's unorthodox but it works for him
He was out of shape v Wallin and seems unfocused, he has stated he won`t be botheed if the Wilder rematch doesn`t come off because he has achieved evderything he wanted to in boxing.
Was he different weight then Wilder or Shwartz fight? I'm too lazy to Google Also, he didn't really achieve much in boxing except for being another Buster Douglas to Wlad.
Fury`s erratic movement made him far harder to hit v Wlad and Wilder than Douglas was v an out of form M.Tyson was and Fury`s belly was a lot bigger v Wallin than it was v Wilder.
People do want to see Fury do much damage with his punching but he fights defensive against more dangerous opponents these days because he has more skill than them. When he does go on the offensive he actually has a very varied arsenal and has hurt a lot of fighters to the body which is unique for HWs and interesting to watch. His combination punching and countering is clearly better than a lot of HWs. Last fight Fury went into brawl mode but lacked accuracy no doubt because of his eyeball coming out. Wallin was hurt numerous times to head and body but survived. It might turn out that Wallin is actually pretty tough and hard to stop, guess we'll see how he goes from here on out. But he wasn't of the opinion that Fury was a featherfist if you listen to his interview.
I'm a big fan of Fury, but I am inclined to agree with your points on his offense He slaps similar to Calzaghe, though I'm not sure if Fury actually has hand issues? I would like to see him sit down on his punches more, but I believe that would leave him vulnerable to getting caught and Fury has been dropped a few times. Granted he always has gotten up, but he doesn't like to take chances! I hope I am wrong, but I don't think his pitter patter style will work for the second time against Wilder He will need to get Deontay's respect and try to hurt him early and perhaps get close and bully him with his extra weight Of course that's a risky gameplan, but so is staying on the outside pawing with the jab and feinting so often! Wilder will be ready for his unorthodox style this time and I have a feeling he will knock Fury out within 4 or 5 rounds.

Yup Someone like a bit younger Povetkin would have done fury in. A well schooled boxer with power and technique who wouldn't fall for the herky jerk and weird noises he makes.
A lot of that “skills” is due to height and reach advantage. Try that with a 4 inch height deficit. I feel like Muhammad Ali too when sparring shorter slower guys. He’s skilled but it’s a lot more shallow than people think.
