Julian Williams vs Jeison Rosario set for January 18th

This is a homecoming fight so anything other than a soft touch shouldn’t have been expected. Guys who take on sneaky good fighters in they homecoming always lose or look bad.. (ex. Garcia vs Herrera, Hurd vs J Rock, Sergio vs Murray)

 

Rosario isn't bad; he beat Marc Antony Hernández twice, once by knockout. (the guy that dealt Kevin Newman II his first pro loss, which Newman avenged by UD last week)

 

He drew with Hernandez the first time around.

 

Okay, cool, get through this mediocre homecoming fight, then how about Williams vs Lubin? How's that play out?

I've seen Rosario a couple times live, he can crack, but he's nothing special. He leans back with his chin up when he throws his left hook and he's very hittable. He's pretty sloppy technically, which should make it an easy night for J-Rock.

Almost. Dude's been handed a title by beating a non top-50 fighter in Sufi and now he's fighting another no-hoper to defend it. It's a farce, really.
