So you'd rather watch two heavyweight journeymen than elite level lightweights? I know little guys who can fight like **** and big ogres who are ****ing useless, if you want giant muscbound guys with 8 packs and 'personality' theres this thing called WWF, Dereck Chisora is a big guy... That makes him ppv worthy? He hasn't beaten anybody of note in about ten years ffs bar that hail mary against Takam and Chisora looked more surprised than him when it landed
Because he's a big guy who's a 'character' zzzzzz seriously check the guys record, one guy put it perfectly, his victories all look like someone emptied a scrabble board over the page, every person with a name beats him and he gets his next shot by beating up a few bulgarian jobbers
Chisora is the king of comebacks And he carried this PPV fight with his high profile status in the UK boxing scene where huge fans have warmed to him
I prefer to watch heavyweights for the most part. There are some lighter weight fighters I can appreciate but nothing beats the heavyweights. It's a fight at the end of the day not ballet, I want o see the most dangerous human beings you can put together have a fight. Chisora is a more dangerous fighter than prograis or taylor which is why he mugged them off like they were nothing, because to him, they arent. Prograis tried to say something but then bottled it, he straight up got out-alpha'd by the big dog, Chisora was like yeah you are #1 at your little weight, now shut it before I send you 20 feet across the room with a slap. Straight alpha It's just how it is and only manlets will get wound up by it, you can't compete with a big heavyweight scrap
Yes I would rather watch heavyweights. Hate Chisora all you want but he ain't a journey man. I think you have little man syndrome.
I often think these guys who stroke off over lightweights and bag the heavies are like 5'6" little men living vicariously.
I can understand the heavyweights being a fans favourite division, but I think real boxing fans enjoy nearly all of the divisions and appreciate the technical skill on show. You sound like my missus, she won’t watch the little fella’s box
Generally it comes down to having enough hours in the day for me. I remember like 2008-2010 I used to watch damn near every fight there was, at all weights. I remember sitting down watching rendall Munroe in his failed trip to Japan at silly o clock lol. I just don't have the time nowadays, I'm lucky if I can sit down for a fight once or twice a month now, so I have to be picky and in that case I'll pick heavyweight fights mostly.
I like to see the best fighters fight the best The fact that a 135lbs bloke might be the best in his weight class isn't really impressive when he is really the millionth best fighter on the planet. I think it's atrocious when guys like Audley and Pricey get ridiculed as bums and would kill the little dork dwarf who is praised like a king. Isn't it just ridiculous!!!
Chisora was robbed in the Helenius fight and Whyte 1. Del boy would beat the 10 best dwarfs in 1 night. Ffs I doubt all 10 of them combined would last 12 rounds, he would probably kill half of them
You said you like heavy weights as it’s a fight at the end of the day, but it’s not a fight it’s boxing. If you want a punch up I’d suggest go watch MMA, personally I like boxing for. The skill of boxing.
Exactly. You could put one of them little pound for pound midgets in with big del and he would probably just chill laying on the ropes checking his watch while they loaded up on his body for a round then he'd lay one hook on them and you'd likely be talking broken neck.
Personally prefer nearly all weight classes to Heavyweights. I find the majority of heavyweight fights these days are pretty poor to be honest.
Apart from a couple of exceptions, the skill levels are much higher in the lower weight classes, which is what boxing is all about and not just a big clubbing right hand.
