First Good Morning Britain, now Loose Women.

Truly this is a man who could come relatively close to half filling Manchester Arena.

I'm not desperate for anything. As I keep saying, I merely counter your madness. As a fan of Fury, it's pretty standard to counter the shamelessly biased ramblings of a hater.

Fury has boxing figures to underline his popularity. It may not be Mayweather/Canelo levels but they're up there with the top guys in the UK apart from AJ.

    - Fury/Klitschko done over 500k ppv buys
    - Fury/Seferi sold 20,000 tickets
    - Fury/Wilder generated over 25 million dollars

How does such a tragically unpopular fighter do these numbers Tony?

That’s not really ‘up there’ with the top guys in the UK.

His PPV’s have been beaten by Haye, Froch, Whyte and Bellew. If you believe he sold 20,000 against Seferi, you’re insane. He had as much to do with the Wilder fight figures as he did with the Klitschko ones.

When did Whyte ever do over 500k ppv?

@TonyHayers you wanted big numbers and you got them. Now you're crying about them.

    You're a clown man.

Froch v Groves 2 was only 350k much less than Fury v Wilder. Yet another example of Tony Hayers elaborating figures and facts.

Not a chance. Those barb figures were ridiculously wrong. If you believe that list, then Frampton/Quigg only done like 15k or so less buys than Froch Groves 2.

That rematch was massive. The reported 700k is far more likely.

    Anyhow.. As for Tyson Fury...

Pros: - Beat Klitschko in his own backyard convincingly
    - Took the Wilder fight not long into his comeback when AJ was quacking

Cons: - Ducked the Wilder rematch
    - happy to fight bums
    - constantly condradicts himself and lied about giving money to homeless.

    Provide a source.

Rematch is Febuary 22nd in Las Vegas.

Prove that he didn't. There are multiple reports of Fury's charity work including the rehousing of homeless people in his hometown.

How did he duck the rematch when he's scheduled to fight him next?

Where's the evidence that states he didn't give his purse to charity?

    1. Here's an article from the daily mail citing 900k buys, as does the Metro and other sources. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/b...t-Rematch-22m-richest-fight-British-soil.html

I honestly don't care that much about how many buys it did, but it CLEARLY did over 350k unless you are living under a rock. The casual's casual were interested in that fight.

    2. We will see if that rematch happens. I have my doubts. One things for sure, Fury ducked the immediate rematch. He did have greet cojones to take the first fight, but things change.

    3. Oh cmon man. He clearly didn't give any money away. Tyson is a habitual virtue signaller. BT sports would have been all over it. When Fury is asked about it he goes all defensive. I don't know why I'm wasting my time on this one. He CLEARLY didn't. He was everywhere from 5 live boxing, to Sky Sports, to IFL, to the LA Times saying he was going to donate his purse to the homeless. Then you expect him to suddenly go about it privately after the fact? Do me a favour.

Nobody knows whether or not Fury gave away that purse and that's a fact. Everyone around him says he's a huge charity giver and that's another fact. He's also known to generally keep his charity work low key so that could be why we've heard nothing.

My opinion is that he gave a large slice of it away. Why is that hard to believe when he's a known charity giver?

Sorry I have to laugh at somebody who believes he gave a cent away from his purse to charity.
