Better off with Ingle imo. Davidson seems a good young trainer on the come up, but the experience is with Ingle. Also, seems to suit Billy being up in Sheffield and away from distractions at home. I know who I would rather train with if I was a fighter.
I wonder if this was a condition of the Matchroom contract? His best performance was under Ingle and arguably his worst under Davidson, Eddie will want a guarantee on his investment. Brook is also back in the gym so that quashes any previous rumours of their split being over BJS.
He is now under Eddie Hearns drug exemption so it makes sense. Frank Warren wasnt paying VADA enough to look the other way like Hearns does for AJ, Dullian Whyte, Brook, GalaPED etc.
It's a smart move. Hes looked like shite under Ben, really terrible fight a few years ago, almost got chinned his last fight etc Dom he looked good and sharp, its for the best
Ben Dover is yet to produce a single champion. He isn’t proven and BJS has looked like dog **** everytime he has fought with him as trainer. Good move.
I think Saunders will have just realised that Ben is more of a 365 day a year personal assistant to Fury rather than being there just for the 12 week camp. Isaac Lowe will probably be happy following him all over place but it won’t be suiting Saunders to be playing second fiddle.
