Never has a fighter the size of Furey possessed the skills Furey does.

For a fighter his size he moves extremely well.

I'd argue Arturo Szpilka did better vs Wilder than Fury did until he got caught in the 9th round. Wilder is not defensively astute at all.

His movement and incredible ring IQ is what makes him quickly stand out. You could easily see that in his fight with Wladimir. I can’t remember the last time anyone forced Wladimir into deliberate desperate headbutts like Fury did. One hell of a fighter and great entertainer to boot. It’s sad that he had to go through personal problems which drove him off for so long. Here’s a video I find myself regularly visiting for the sake of eternal hilarity.

How much boxing IQ does it take to punch yourself in the face

I’d argue that Whyte would do better against Wilder than Fury or Spilka

Spilka got banged out in two short rounds by Chisora

    banged OUT

Best defence is an offense and Spilka and Fury aint got non of dat dere offense

Well I have it on good authority that Whyte knocked fury unconscious in sparring so I have to agree.

100% agree with you on the Wlad rematch

Lightning wouldn't strike twice and I think he was feeling major pressure going in on that fight

Wlad would of let his hands go more in the rematch, similar to how Wilder will in the second fight

That's why it is so important than Tyson gets Deontay's respect early, or he could be in major trouble

I doubt jabbing and feinting will be enough this time

He needs to switch it up and go inside and Tyson can fight on the inside when required.

If he stays close to Wilder, then he will be able to avoid feeling 100% of Wilders power

He can tie him up on the inside, drain his power using his weight, while frustrating the hell out of him

As the rounds go on, Wilder will become sloppy, Tyson can then revert back to boxing on the back foot, using feints and every now and then going back on the inside and bullying him again.

Wilder is definitely the puncher in the fight, but if Fury sits on his punches he can hurt Wilder for sure

I still have a feeling Wilder will knock him out, but Tyson usually rises for the occasion and can't be written off

No disrespect to Davison, but I would prefer if Tyson had his uncle back in the corner. I think he would come up with a better gameplan and give Tyson the guidance he needs, if things start to go against him.

I have the feeling Ben is just someone to get Tyson in shape, while he ultimately goes out and does his own thing!

Sparring is just practise until you get into your best shape, you are not supposed to knock guys out when you spar with them.

He had no respect for Wallin's power who is a light puncher himself. Had he been in with a Wilder or Klitschko you would have seen an obviously different approach. He had to come forward and take punches to get Wallin out of there as the fight was in danger of being stopped and a TKO loss awarded. Had his sight not been affected he would have been able to use both stances effectively and measure his shots with better timing and accuracy. It has widely been reported there were mixed signals going to the Fury corner from ESPN regarding the cut situation. You are comparing his performance against a C level fighter and A level elite fighters.
