That is quite an honor and accomplishment.

To be ranked amongst MX legends like Sal Sanchez, Julio Cesar Chavez, Erik Morales, Marco Antonio Barrea by Barrera himself is a great compliment.

You have to put him up there. 147-175 is very, very rare

I have almost no doubt that most of these haters were born between 1985-2000. A large fraction of millenials are the biggest cry babies possibly in the history of earth. These guys are still crying over GGG-Canelo I. LMAO!

Canelo is one of the best Mexican fighters of all time. No doubt about it. But I am looking forward to watch Ward vs Canelo.

And it’s no surprise they got easily deceived by Golovkin’s hype train. His team knew how to market/advertise him and they quickly targeted twitter bumpkins.

That would be a dream match. But does Ward want that work? He seems pretty content with his commentating gig and is a big fan of Canelo himself.

If he's interested i'm too impatient for tune ups. He needs to be ready to go by may if he wants it.
Also Canelo is one of the greats regardless of race by now and he's the best ginger we've ever seen.

Regardless of what he says, I think Ward almost certainly would want it. Provides him with a potential legacy defining moment and almost certainly a career high payday, too.

In other words, if Canelo wanted that fight, I don't think it would be too tricky to lure him out of retirement, even if Ward plays hard to get.

IT WAS TOTALLY THE REVERSE!! Yes Canelo legitimately beat Kovalev he saw his opportunity & took it
BUT that is one of very few 'wins' of his that you could say that about. Oscar and the NSAC 'S conspiracies really have ruined his legacy for him. He'll never be able to live down the gift decisions, failed ped's tests & cowardly handing back the WBC Title. They made him a very rich young man I HOPE HE IS HAPPY WITH THAT

Funny because people still pay to watch him and has the biggest audience in all of boxing.
