I honestly thought he broke Donaires ribs with that bodyshot, the way Donaires moved away from the shot and the reaction.

Donaire amazingly carried on fighting and survived a good 90 seconds onslaught.

It's fights like this that make me love boxing so much, I will watch that fight multiple times in the coming weeks but then I'll catch a Matchroom show and Okolie or Dave Allen will take a huge leak all over my love for this beautiful sport.

Brilliant fight! Dayuum!! I'm sure I must've aged a decade whilst watching that. I was talking to my TV as early as round 1 pleading with Inoue not to stand right in front on Nonito and trade with him (the old don't hook with a hooker adage) because I thought he was going to get clipped with a huge left hook, which he did a handful of times. However, it was Nonito's right over the top that had me sweating during the last half of the fight.

I don't think any of us were expecting Nonito to be able to take Inoue's power as well as he did and Inoue showed a lot of mental fortitude there to not fold under the pressure because I'm sure he wasn't either and he could've so easily burnt up a lot of nervous energy and lost his composure and come unstuck under the weight of that mental pressure. Inoue ticked the chin, heart, and mettle boxes tonight for sure but he needs to keep his hands up more in future and he should've gone to the body more tonight as well. Nonito was also excellent tonight too and he displayed an iron set of whiskers and a big heart himself to pull out a performance like that at this stage of his career and in Inoue's backyard.

I think that's Fight of the Year

Inoue's earned his nickname Monster. He's tearing through weight classes like Godzilla tearing through Tokyo.

And I’m late to work was worth it tho. Inoues stock might have dropped a little which I hate to say though I will make the cut excuse but the fight was great and the heart Nonito showed was amazing

6-3 Inoue. Inoue's lack of defense getting exposed here a bit.

Kovalev is an alcoholic at the end of his career who nearly lost to a bodybuilder in his last fight lol. Clear calculated "risk" by his handlers which is why everyone picked him to win. Oddsmakers, pundits, etc. Golovkin fights were BS. Clenelo is smoke and mirrors. Inoue has done everything he's done without controversy. Also Donaire today is better than Kovalev today. Easy.

Dude you know I’m the biggest Inoue fan on here. No way Inoues resume is close to Canelo controversy or not. Canelo is #1 and Crawford loma are #2 I’ll put Inoue, Usyk and Spence at 3

Uh-huh, and lemme guess, Tete would've knocked either guy silly today, right?
