The sad thing is that cracker would have been watched by literally a few thousand people on Sky, yet god knows how many mugs will pay for two YouTube ****s on the weekend

Also I wish Barker and Chris Lloyd would replace the likes of Smith and Froch as the main Sky commentators. I thought both did a very good job today.

Is that espn deal with Bob Arum then?

I'd say he was well paid for the super series though, that's been a common statement by any fighters that competed in it. That the money was too good to turn down. I'd actually be very curious as to how much they do get, as they always say its great money.

But the guy is electric to watch. Like a young paquaio.

I think he's the most exciting fighter in world boxing.

Somehow, the WBSS should be ring fenced financially for it's continuation. Within 12 days we have been blessed with 2 of their finals, showing boxing at it's very best. 2 full distance fights with only one knockdown, further evidence that great fights don't rely on knockouts.
Donaire was an inspiration at 37, when most in the lighter weights are finished.

I have to admit I was one of the 90% who got this fight outcome completely wrong in the poll.

Step forward the 2 posters who called this one correct.

Burnett would have beat donaire if not for the injury IMO but we'll never know.

Both were dross mate and Sky need to get more informed and passionate commentators in with voices that reflect the fight we are watching.

Adam Smith partly does the job with the voice but only follows pre rehearsed lines and only in the game for checking out peckers at weigh-ins. He has zero knowledge of boxthing.

Watt and McCrory have never been replaced.

    Spot on mate
For all the crap Adam Smith gets his voice is suited to events and make it sound big time (or more important if that makes sense)
Him alongside some good knowledge would bounce off each other

Ive noticed it more since the last few streams ive caught have been DAZNs and boy they are truly dire

It's Zarate v Zamora ffs! At Bantamweight. All the others mentioned were not Bantams.
Check it out. They came into the fight with almost all knockouts on both their records.
Boxing did exist pre 2000, lads...:)

Quick thoughts.... Burnett's injury is such a tragedy. He might well beat both thes guys. Fantastic fight. Was that a "long count"? Donaire was hugely bigger in there. Doubt Inoue will be able to move up thru the divisions for size reasons. But what a fight....
