Because Haney is some devastating puncher. Stop it. This forum just switched from Loma nutsucking to Loma hating if y'all think that Haney should be favored against Loma.

So he's a hype job because of that?

Should no boxer be allowed to have fans that think highly of them until they beat a name fighter? That's called bandwagonning...

Let's not all of a sudden put roadblocks in the way now that Loma has a real threat. Campbell had beaten no one of note. Pedraza had beaten no one of note, Koashica, Rodriguez, and a couple of those other mediocre or just plain sorry opponents hadn't beaten anyone of note either, but got to fight Loma, so why all of a sudden try to say that Haney needs to fight this person or that person first?

why do you believe being different equals being better? at the very top of the elite class, youre gonna find masters of the traditional way of boxing. once those guys start squaring off on equal terms, thats when you can see how much better different really is.

Lomachenko has looked very mortal at 135. Do you think it's due to fighting opposition that has a better skillset than his prior opponents or is it due to him simply not being a full fledged lightweight? I think the latter of the two along with him having peaked. Haney is a huge weight cutter and typically looks like a jr welterweight in the ring. Lomachenko would have his hands full in that fight.

Fought bums and is just a reactive fighter, very basic.

Haney`s opposition is really lower ranked in the boxing council`s ratings.

It`s called being silly, there`s nothing pointing out why Haney is so hyped already he`s been beating bums.

Haney's size, hand speed and long range fighting would give Loma a lot of problems. Haney can keep it long all night. Size has been a major factor in Loma's lackluster performance's as of late. He gives Loma a serious run for his money.
