Would you feel confident you'd be able to wobble an old lady if you cracked her with your Sunday punch with them on?

Rocked my sparring partner who had headgear on. So yes, I would likely make any old lady dance.
(Haven´t sparred with 10oz gloves since)

Those gloves look like pillows, but trust me, they are not.

 Well that's reassuring to hear because I find it hard to believe even Mike Tyson would be able to KO someone with a sofa on either fist.

I like your scorecard, but there is no way that you can give Inoue the second. Donaire landed a brutal left hook that opened up a horrific gash.

Barrera vs Morales 3, although I believe they were yellow gloves, look absolutely atrocious in the same manner you are writing of.

Are the divisions Inoue's fought at weak, or is he just that far above everyone else at the weights?

I've only watched the Russian Match TV broadcast on account of it's having the cleanest video quality of rips available at that time. So, other than what little English I was able to occasionally hear coming from members of Team Donaire, and the unfortunate fact that most non-English broadcasters cut to commercials during the between round breaks, even when there's an occurance of significance in the round, it isn't a safe bet that they'll not cut to a commercial break and show us the replay. So, at the time i write this, I am unsure as to which of the left hands Nonito landed in that 2nd round did the damage. I assume it to be one of the following two, the first one landing at 2:08 of the round (52 secs remaining) and the other at 2:20ish (40 secs remaining) and i would imagine that, if it's even one of those two punches, the second looks to be much more likely to have done so. It was very much a grazing sorta punch that looks like it could've inflicted something similar to a "papercut."
The first one, occuring at 2:08 (52 secs remaining) did English commentary make any real significant mention of the shot hurting Inoue to some degree? i think it very well may have but, along with showing a sturdy and dependable chin throughout the fight, I think he showed a pretty good "poker face" as well. I think it possible that Inoue was able to convince Donaire that the shot didn't bother him, buying him the two or three seconds needed for him to scram, and scram the guy did. Then the following exchange, where he may've gotten the cut, has me thinking that he was hurt to some degree. Anyway, I think Nonito hurt him a few times but, if so, credit to inoue for getting outta the possible dicey situations. A great fight though, and Nonito Donaire, to my eyes, Nonito Donaire lost the sporting contest that was being judged, no question. Nonito Donaire did not lose ANYTHING other than that.

I've seen a few people say that too. Thought Inoue did enough landing the more meaningful punches in the exchanges over the round as well as finding a home for his jab. Will give it another watch.

I've known of this rule too but, directly after Fury vs Wilder, when the ten count topic was the rage for ten mins or so, I couldn't believe the difficulty I had at actually trying to find a credible source I could link people to so as to prove the point in various forums. I mean, it was really oddly difficult. Boxrec, some sanctioning body websites, on and on, I found that they either, probably inadvertently done by whomever was paid to create the website, had 10 seconds, and NOT a 10 count, stated specifically as what the legit rule for the count was. I thought something along the lines of "gee, surprise me not boxing, even when something should be soooo simple..."
Rules about counting to the relatively small number of ten should be rather simple to follow, keep to, and explain. But, once again, the easiest of answers? pro boxing. All that ever need be said when something simple is made everything but? Pro boxing. End of story.

    Bit of both.
Narvaez was just past his prime. But years later he went 12 rounds with Tete at bantamweight. So he wasn´t shot, just and ageing veteran.
Adrian Hernandez and Ryota Taguchi were solid guys, just not elite. Donaire has thus far been the only elite level guy Inoue has faced. But his resume is filled with solid guys like: Payano, Kono, McDonnell and Rodriguez in addition to the already mentioned Taguchi. Hernandez and Narvaez.
And it´s crazy how easily Inoue destroyed most of them.

The massive left hook that opened up the cut was maybe the most significant punch of the fight after the liver shot that put Nonito down. Inoue had to have to beat the hell out of Nonito to take the 2nd round.
