Even though Roach trained Ruiz for 5 years - he says the weight loss from Ruiz will hurt him quite badly.

So like 10% of the forum + The roach freddie roach backing AJ in the rematch?

Interesting, as he back Ruiz in the first meeting, must have known AJ would take it lightly.

Whe won't know who will win until Atlas makes his pick. Doesn't matter who everyone else picks, just the opposite of Teddy's favorite.

I don't see why losing some flab is going to be anything but good for Ruiz.

No he didn't he didn't even think Ruiz would beat the top guys let alone Joshua,he said that in April of 2019 .After the fight he said he told everyone but he didn't he actually said it would be a good fight while it lasts. which refereed to AJ winning . If hes now picking Ruiz he will be wrong a second time, if he switches again and picks AJ bc of a few pounds Ruiz takes off which he needs to do this time well...….the man is mixed up bc the 260/plus Ruiz isn't going to win here so a lighter Ruiz is a reason to take him if anything. .its ridiculous if anyone thinks ity will be the same fight ,I don't care whos trained Ruiz. lol

I seen this video way bf you guys and the likes of it. Ive also seen Ruiz fight better near or closer to 245 so please show me what fight he fights better FAT in suggesting a 260 Ruiz is better ?

Hes not, his footwork would show that bc hes a plodder so being heavy against any tall guy with top level skills to make the distance up is a disaster ,even the Parker fight showed it and Parker didnt throw much and fought not to lose ( although I think he did ) doing it again against a prepared AJ is a disaster waiting to happen ,Ruiz at above 255 will not win with a 82 inch reach AJ of 6'6 if he decides to break him down . . he was 255/256 against Parker and had just enough to keep up,if hes 260 in this one its over anyway, Roach is wrong.

A reminder he did not get it right the first time,he picked AJ and Ruiz was 268,how is Roach suggesting a Ruiz of 255 or so is a bad thing, thats HIS weight on average and Ruiz at a sub 250 is ideal ,he WONT win if he cant close the distance this time in spots he will NEED to......! lol

I personally saw vids of both Roach and Kevin Barry talking up Ruiz before the first fight

    They both trained Ruiz

Ruiz was far better v AJ than he was v Parker, he countered the jab much better and had a better corner.

That's bc Joshua was TRYING to win and Ruiz had to fight back or the fight was over ,not sure whats hard to understand here ? lol

Its far easier looking better if you are in with someone fighting back who has already knocked you down and forces you to go on the offensive. Against Parker he only looked worse bc Parker ran the entire time. He was not engaging bc he didn't have the skills to do that which is why he held on for dear life vs Joshua literally ducking his head below chest level and using one arm to try and hit and hold which is why the ref broke them up at times...THATS AGAINST THE RULES yet ppl complained about the ref ? lol

Is Roach back to his CockRoach antics and wants to get on AJ's good side like he tried to do with Fury?
