Wilder is a horrible person, the guy continues to hint about killing Fury in the rematch.

He should fight the winner of Joshua/Ruiz.

There's something 'pro wrestling' about Wilder ... I'm probably wrong, but I wish he would just cut to the chase and fight a 100% genuine fight against a veritable #1.

I don't know many people who like these sort of comments, it does leave a bad taste especially after a young man lost his life recently.

Wilder says these things because he gets a reaction, he doesn't care if they are negative reactions because he just wants those reactions and most importantly the attention.

It's all getting a little old, predictable, boring and tasteless.

The more boxing fans show outrage and give him attention on Twitter the more Wilder will say stupid ridiculous and tasteless things.

Tyson won't care about the comments. It's business and he's better at trash talk, and more classy, which is ironic

This is all part of promoting a fight.

Every champion has to have that killer instinct and will to win. Some express it and some dont. But dont fool yourself. Every championship elite boxer thinks about causing serious harm to their opponent

want's a body. yes, because that's literally what needs to happen in sport for an athlete to provide for his children. i always confuse an athletes job in martial arts to mafia hitmen as well.

sure it's promotion but there are countless alternative ways to promote a fight or promote your brand. u can play a badman or the heel role without sacrificing your conscience. of course that's assuming he has one.

I am also UFC fan and McGregor is nothing more than a festering pustule on the arse cheek of UFC. I was gutted when Mayweather felt it necessary to carry that fool into the later rounds, rather than whooping his sorry ass to humiliating defeat. I have issues with plenty of fighters, just that Wilder continues to go on with this unnecessary BS about wanting a body on his record at the most inappropriate of times.

It doesn't make him out to be a G, just the complete opposite in fact, a moron. I'm no ****ng snowflake either. I've had a go in the ring, broken a couple of noses and put a hurting on people and been hurt in return. It's the game, I get it.

Laughable that some people in this thread are comparing Wilder saying this to Mike Tyson saying it.

Mike Tyson, at the time, was truly the baddest man on the planet. Saying he wanted to kill someone want so out of the ordinary as most people believed he was truly a savage in and out of the ring.

Wilder is only the baddest man on the planet in his own head. YES he has freakish power but if he really wanted a body he would have caught one by now as he fought absolute cream puffs up until his 33rd fight and following that his best win is a 50 year old cuban with a dodgy ticker?

Him saying these things come across as tasteless because his killer image is so fraudulent - no denying his power but he is not a killer.

Exactly and just for the record, prime Tyson would have knocked Wilders block off into the fifth row within 2 rounds

like building a rep taking on all comers, shutting his mouth and start taking on legit opponents, Americans would lap him up and brits because he has crazy ko power if he did so. He should be far more popular and richer considering hes been champ a while now, his own have sniffed him out so hes resorting to unsavoury comments
