If you were to see a poll of the best 50 fights of all time what percentage of the list would be heavyweight fights? ..my guess is it wouldn't be more than 10%. wars at heavyweight are very rare.
50 greatest fights of all time I'd say 90% would be heavyweight The term p4p was coined to give some shine to little dwarf bums who nobody gave a **** about lol So basically every great fight pre p4p was all heavyweight fights
Yeah James5000 that's your opinion but boxing historian's and chroniclers opinions hold more weight tbh.
Its true a snake promoter used it lol, was a clever promotional tactic. Think Sugar Ray Robinson was the fighter. It never really caught on until Americans turned to crap in the heavyweight division circa Lennox Lewis 90s/00s. Americans are by far the greatest promoters in the game and they managed to convince the public to care. Helped that Americans never had a decent heavyweight to look upto
Does anyone think Floyd would be a someone if he came around when Louis/Marciano/Ali/Tyson/Holyfield were peaking?
Chisora **** his trunks from Fury who is doing WWF, so spare me mate, and he got battered by him twice, like the rest of his fights
The Idea that if Josh Taylor and Regis Prograis started scrapping in a bar near you, your reaction wouldn't be to laugh, come on
Surely as not just a casual it Wouldn't take you long to figure out once they started throwing neither of these guys are above average, they are fantastic
I know a few guys who look like they’d be blown over by a strong wind but f**k me they can rumble. Size matters, not to the extent that some think though. Of course in the pro business it’s a different ball game.
A good big one usually splats a good small one in most bars, however, the tools used these days results in totally different outcomes. Nobody can spit out a bullet or take being penetrated by a 12 inch blade or worse.
