    No.

I’ve seen enough now, he needs to move back down. Or is it since the drugs? Either way he’s been **** since.

The majority of the forum make him favourite against the likes of Callum Smith? He would get decimated. Eubank Jr would absolutely feast on him too.

Another thing about Saunders is he likes to mess around and do as he pleases. This weight helps him be lazy and cut corners. He needs to drop back down and then do a proper camp with some discipline to make weight.

Agree he should be down at middleweight.

Don’t think this weight is why he looks bad, he only ever gets up for the bigger fights and that’s why he cuts corners...

    He’d toy with Eubank jr.

I wouldn’t have him favourite vs Smith but wouldn’t be suprised if he won. Canelo is another kettle of fish.

The main issue with BJS these days is that he has completely lost his motivation for the sport. His heart isnt in it any longer. He has lost his hunger. Since the career best Lemieux win he has done absolutely nothing other than go backwards and get older.

You can have all the talent in the world. But at the elite level. Everyone has the talent, and they are 100% disciplined and committed. The differences are very minor when everyone has talent and is 100% disciplined.

BJS is probably about 60% disciplined and committed and it shows. He is also aged 30 now and that is when you can no longer play at this sport and not get hurt.

Whether he is MW or SMW he isnt in the right shape or mindset right now to be competing at the elite level.

He’s fought Eubank and beat him very narrowly. Since then he’s badly struggled with a series of bang average opponents. I don’t see how we can infer that he’d suddenly now ‘toy’ with him.

It all depends on BJS being able to switch on peak levels when he fights a better opponent. As time rolls on from the Lemeuix performance that gets harder to justify. I have a horrible feeling that BJS career, which promised so much, is going to go out with a whimper. Hearn may be able to manoeuvre him into a high profile fight, but is he really going to be able to elevate his level to anything like that required?

Ok, none of my business but... you are better than that. Wish you'd knock this stuff on the head, whatever your beef with the poster.

He trolls this place 24/7 with the same negative tripe about Tyson Fury and BJS being a signed up member of Eh day Hearn's fan club - you are probably correct that maybe ignoring her will help.

I think Hearn has signed him because he sees Saunders as a useful (pun intended) tool. Whilst he doesn’t have any popularity and is very hard to sell as a headline act he fits the bill well as a competent opponent and the villain of the piece who handily comes with a world title.

Lol @ saying BJS should be at MW. He's very fleshy there! He should be at 154, no if's or but's.

His resume, for someone who has been a pro for 10 years (or there abouts) is absolutely shocking.

His best wins are appalling, in every sense.

The lemieux win is way overrated imo. He's a wild slugger with rocks in his boots....Styles make fights guys! What golovkin did to lemieux 2 years earlier was genuinely impressive. It was a good win for bjs nothing more.I hope he gets the canelo or callum smith fight and gets his long overdue beating. The fact that he's remained undefeated is some feat i will give him that.

People need to understand there is a middle ground between thinking BJS is an ATG and thinking he’s a bum just because he’s given away a few rounds to fighters he shouldn’t.

He’s clearly a very good fighter...is Lemieux worse than Cocares now? Just because BJS won every round against him? That seems to be the logic people are applying on this forum.

A win can be overrated but still be a great performance and good win.

I guess it’s a testament to his ability that people say the Lemieux win is overrated. If someone like Martin Murray beat him it’d be celebrated but Martin Murray isn’t described as a bum.

I’m not even that much of a BJS fan but the lack of objectivity by some on this forum is staggering. Perhaps it’s just a lack of intelligence, I don’t know...

'Sanders' started his career at SMW and always struggled with middle so no way he would make 154. Whether that is down to genetics or discipline is unclear. Either way dude needs to lay of the fried chicken.

It’s not ‘give away a few rounds.’ He beat Eubank, Akavov, Lee and Ryder on very close cards and could have lost one or two of those fights with little complaint.

Now they’re not terrible opponents, but nor are they the sort of opponents who you scrape past and then start becoming someone who is picked to beat Canelo.

It was clearly down to lack of dedication, I don’t think there is any doubt about that. He should’ve been at 154 at the start of his career and grew into middleweight.

Can somebody give me an outline of the fight? Haven't watched it and don't plan on doing either.
