KSI vs Logan Paul "Fight" [all discussion of this farce here, please]

How is watching two unskilled novices fighting over some contrived online beef great for boxing?

If you really think the legions of adoring 12 year olds who follow these "content creators" have suddenly gained a newfound respect for boxing and will be taking up the sport in droves, I think you are mistaken.

To them, it's about the two You Tubers, and they'll move and forget boxing as quick as any other fad in their lives.

It could have been chess, or tennis, or one on one at basketball...it just so happened they wanted to legally give the other the right hander they think the other has had coming for years, so boxing it was.

This hasn't done anything for boxing beyond the attention last night, which, again, was all about the You Tubers.

There's stuff online from boxing people at the fight who said most of those in the crowd were celebrity spotting and looking at their phones while world level opposition went at it in the ring.

P.S I hope the two involved drop this nonsense and go back to their content creation.

They have had people, people who see money to be made, filling their heads with rubbish abour their skill level and how they "could make it as pro fighters".

No, no they couldn't...and they'll get seriously hurt if they buy into it.

How would Floyd do against either KSI or Logan Paul?

 

Thought it was a lot of fun. Loved it. Great fight. Thought it was good for the sport. Logan Paul and KSI showed a lot of respect for the sport. I absolutely think it’s bringing in new fans

 

Really weird since I had a lucid dream just last night after the fight of Floyd fighting KSI.

In the dream I was with Floyd, watching over his children, while he was getting ready for the ring walk. He was missing boxing and inside his place there were hundreds of people running around, kissing his backside. Some were singing for him, some were painted with wide smiles plastered across their faces as soon as he walked past, as if it were their jobs to be elated.

When the fight was about to begin in the arena, a special guest singer came out in the ring and ignited the crowd, and one man shouted something in response to the lyrics and then a brawl kicked off which began to spread everywhere until there was a stampede of all the people rushing to get out of the arena

Floyd then came out of his dressing room to try and stop everyone from frantically running out of the building.

I myself managed to dashed out from the back as someone held the back ajar for people to squeeze out, Some didn't make it and ended up getting piled on.

Once some of us escaped, there was only endless fields and the only way to get back to our destinations was to cross train tracks which were live. Trains were passing every few seconds, so I had to time the crossing right. Then a police helicopter descended down to ask me what I was doing on the tracks. After I explained what happened, they invited me into the pod and some woman was fascinated by the story

He'd bounce them around the ring like he did with that japanese fella.

 

Would be a close, competitive fight against both men. KSI knocks Floyd out in the later rounds, Logan wins by SD.

 

Even a prime Floyd would have trouble with either one.

Just seen a dad out in their back garden doing pad work with his son. Just shows you...it does have an impact. Never really seen that before around here either. At least the kids are coming away from there computer screens for a change.

 

I approve of this mildly. I just don't like KSI and Logan Paul themselves. If they made Donald Trump vs Hillary Clinton, I would be down for that.
