I really hope this fight happens.

If you can't also see how this is a bad stylistic match up for Canelo, then you're ignorant.

Billy looks garbage against the Akavov's of the world, because he's not motivated to even train for them.

Canelo didn't just have an off night against Lara.

Canelo will always have trouble with boxers who move and give him angles, especially if they're southpaws.

To write Billy off on the strength of last night is foolish.

    Canelo isn't scared of anybody.

His management however would not want him to face a switched on version of Saunders if they could fight somebody else instead.

You must have missed where Oscar stalled the GG fight for as long as possible.

    Don't blame Frank.

Joe was happy to fight everyone he fought.

The reason Canelo hasn't fought BJS is because he doesn't bring any money to the table, isn't a draw, and is a potentially tricky opponent.

    Boxing is a business.

He got off to a bad start on his Showtime contract.

His debut was against Rick Thornberry. I think he was injured though. But he had dull performances against Starie and a few others. He didn't start to impress until he fought Veit and Sheika.

I'm not writing him off on the strength of last nigh tbh. I'm writing him off on the strength of canelo being better in every department, juiced up to the eyeballs, with an iron chin and ko power in either hand.

He's just well better than Saunders. End of story. How it's even an argument is embarrassing

Im writing him off based on how damn good Canelo is vs BJS career performances, not just last night

The man has had one great showing, vs a good fighter mixed with a plethora of mediocre performances against good to average fighters

Canelo is leagues above anything saunders has seen

    Embarrassing how?

    Billy is very good technically.

He has very good footwork and fast hands.

What lets him down is his lack of professionalism.

I think you're going to get a shock if they fight and Billy fights to his full capabilities.

    Let's hope the fight happens.

Nobody is doubting that Canelo wouldn't be by far Billy's best opponent.

    It goes without saying.

It doesn't mean that Billy isn't a bad match up for him stylistically though.

    Of course.

He's a southpaw with very good movement.

It's a bad stylistic match up for Canelo.
