Surprised if we ever find out. BJS's lack of popularity and risk averse style means good chance he never gets payday against Ginger.
Saunders has been looking fat and sluggish at 168, maybe he will get up for Canelo like fury does for the big fights but maybe he is just one of those cases that never reach their full potential. And no it's not the PEDs he could still be completely legally taking the ephedrine or whatever it was because it wasn't actually against the UKAD rules. It was VADA that he violated in camp against andradr and as far as I know he hasn't had stringent VADA since then so it's not that.
Saunders ran the perfect scam last night, and you all bought it hook, line and sinker. He's always talking about how Canelo is a cherry picker of what he thinks are shot fighters, so conveniently he looked like warmed over garbage last night, while not actually incurring very much damage against a smaller light hitting fighter, most of Coceres' shots were caught on his arm, he went through the paces literally bracing himself for the impact, wanting to get punched. Then when his corner told him he needed a KO, he went out, turned it on, and did just that, then in the post fight interview basically said. Canelo, I look like a shot spent fighter, take me now! Brilliant. And yes... Saunders is that premeditated.
This is absurd. Saunders provides NOTHING to Canelo but a vacant title no one cares about. Nobody knows or cares who he is, 6 fights in the last 4 years against mediocre opposition and you think him looking (on purpose) vulnerable against a nobody is brilliant? If Canelo beats him now people will say it is because BJS is on the decline, or BJS was a hypejob. No big $$ No big prestige Who cares?
It would be different if BJS was perceived as some KO artist boogeyman, but a light punching slightly slick fighter? Guy got pushed to the brink by Andy Lee ffs.
Yeah, real delusional. A guy talks about how Canelo won't fight people he thinks are threats. Then in his debut in America when he knows he's fighting in front of Eddy Reynoso who was there scouting him, he looks worst than he's ever looked and puts in a career killing performance, then after the fight says, to paraphrase... Hey Canelo, was that shitty enough for you to fight me?
