    This.

Bob Sapp fought like a monster in MMA until Cro Cop broke his eye socket. He went from being a fighter that seemed to think he was invulnerable to a paper tiger.

Paulie had his orbital fractured at least once and was fine afterwards. It all depends on where the orbital bone is fractured, how bad the fracture, how many places was it fractured, was it reset correctly so it could heal properly, and was ut given enough time to properly heal? I had my right orbital bone badly fractured in 2 places, some clown threw a brick off my face. I still train and spar.

According to Ogogo the first surgery and treatment he had was very poor and meant it was irreparable.

Terrible. I'm surprised he didn't sue the clown who botched it up.

Totally agree with the above & IMO, this makes Brook look even more courageous. Not only because he went up 2 weights to fight GGG to MW , when lets face it most were swerving him a "Who needs him", suffered the eye socket break & gave a good account of himself . Then drop down & face another giant puncher in Spence & suufer the same damage on the opposite side & IMO before this he was giving Spence a hard time technically.

I agree. Really annoys me when I hear people saying Brook is a quitter. Quite the opposite, fighting on after that type of injury not once, but twice, takes massive courage and resolve, and should be respected.

Inoue is lucky that Donaire was made to wear those Winning gloves. Donaire may have very well won by KO or TKO if he lands that shot with his preferred brand of glove.

No wanting to continue after suffering a broken eye socket is infinitely more understandable and sensible than say pulling out with a sore snozzle like Mikey did after being on the receiving end of an innocuous little billy goat butt.
