I agree. Smith is vastly over rated. He is too big of a target and Canelo is too small of a target.

Lets let Smith beat a live body first. Canelo has plenty of options, it's not like possible opponents are sparce. Over the hill Euro level Groves, and Over the hill Euro level N'Jkam aren't live bodies. UK fans have a habit of hyping their favs into big fights when they haven't beaten anyone to make the fight more savory. Smith could face Saunders, Jacobs, Benevidez, Plant etc. It's not like Smith is the only guy available in a sparce field.

I think Canelo beats Smith cleanly. Callum's rib cage is a painfully easy target.

Benavidez and Plant are much bigger threats to Canelo.

How about 10lbs, just like Jacobs, Kovalev and Fielding?

Plant isn't good enough to trouble Canelo. He'd get knocked out

Benavidez is the only the middlfeweight capable of beating Canelo right now.

Canelo isn’t koing plant for **** unless he literally pays him to lay down or pays him to fight weak with some weak bull**** rehydration clause.

    That's idiotic.

An old, shot Kovalev was dominating Canelo with the jab alone.

Plant has one of the most underrated jabs in the sport, and he's a helluva lot quicker and sharper on defense than a 100-year-old Kovalev.

Plant continues to be one of the most underrated fighters in the sport. He has an EXCELLENT chance of beating Canelo.

After fighting LH, looking comfortable at the weight, if Canelo makes a JM sign a max hydration clause, it will be the biggest puss move we’ve seen in a while. Would not surprise me. Neither would another crap decision in favor of Gingerballs. Kovalev was out boxing him and the KO saved fans from another gift decision going to Canelo because he was up on the cards. He’s the company man, house fighter. If he finishes on his feet, he gets his arm raised.

I don’t care who he fights, as long as it’s a fair match. No funny business or hydration nonsense. He didn’t care about rehydration when he was the one blowing up on fight day like the Khan or Smith fights. Suddenly he’s Mr. Rehydration clause. Pathetic.

And what of the 10lb IBF rehydration rule Plant has had to oblige by in his last two fights?
The same rehydration limit Canelo would most likely demand.
