AJs best asset was his aura of being a superhuman athelete with serious boxing ability. That all went out the window when my boy fatty Ruiz manned up and walked him down. AJ will be a contender for as long as he wants to be but Mark my words he is done beating top tier heavyweights

    AJ all day!

He's been seething for vengeance while Andy's been sleeping on silk sheets and experimenting with vegan diets.

AJ will be bringing the spirit of every African Zulu warrior from history into the ring with him that night. This will be a great victory for his people all around the world. Bigger than Jessie Owens, bigger than Usaine Bolt, bigger than all of them

I Favor Joshi for the rematch 60/40, but now I'm actually a bit surprised I'm not in the minority after seeing all the threads about this fight.
The people that believe Ruiz will walk trough Joshi this time around, and there's noyhing he can do are probably just more vocal.

My idea is that if Joshua can fight at a distance and ties Ruiz up when he comes too close he'll win an UD or cathes Ruiz with something when coming in. If Ruiz can close the distance though and Joshi panicks, it might end up the same way as the first.

AJ has been all over social media and his youtube channel.

So what evidence do you have that he is more focused than Ruiz

Besides all the focus in the world, isn't going to be enough to strengthen and save his chin.

AJ should win and IF I had to put a bet down it be on him. But wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if Ruiz stops him again.

Depends on the adjustments he makes which is impossible to predict.

What Joshua does well, he does better than Ruiz.

Ruiz has had his Buster Douglas moment I think. Hopefully he didnt spend all his money too soon.

This is always makes me chuckle.

    ''He should win''

    based on what?

Because he is physically bigger and looks stronger?

This is no different than saying Brandon Curry should win against any boxer if he were to compete

    His instagram is dead.

He has lost a TON of mass, rarely posts videos or updates on Instagram, sounds focused.

Compare that to Ruiz, who has shouted about weight loss but only managed half a stone in three months.

I'm picking Ruiz because of his chin. If AJ was ko'd in sparring right before Ruiz ko'd him, I think his ability to take a shot will be gone. Tough to recover from two concussions close together.

I think AJ will win but i'm not hugely certain. Ruiz has has a style that he really doesn't like enough power to hurt him and a better gas tank.
Joshua has to keep it long and use the jab and keep the trading to a minimum he has to use his size and reach advantages and be very technically correct to win. Its doable but its a big ask

I'm not one to blow my own trumpet.. I tried once before and ended up in hospital with a slipped disc.. never again.

Anyway, I picked Ruiz and had money on Ruiz to win the first fight, to win by any method at 16/1, thank you bet365.

I'm picking Ruiz again but I expect AJ to be better.

Totally torn on this. I can see a scenario where AJ doubles up on the jab, wins on points, or even manages to finish Ruiz off late, but it's difficult to overestimate the psychological impact of the first fight.

All his career, AJ's method has been to soften up on the outside then move in for the kill - and it was precisely that move in for the kill that undid him against Ruiz. Ruiz turned AJ's strength as a boxer - his finishing ability - and hammered it right back at him.

It was interesting hearing Ruiz talk about his tactics - wait 'til Joshua moves in for the kill then unload. He got decked (hard) once in the process but backed himself as the fighter who would get his shots of quicker in an exchange, and it worked perfectly. Gave Joshua the hiding of his life and made him quit.

That's difficult to come back from.
