Well after he annexes HIS WBC title off of Bum Squad and humiliates him again in front of his home fan he's going to annex the UFC HW title from Stipe or whoever's holding it when he gets his title shot

And Dana needs to watch his mouth or Big John Fury might venture over into the UFC himself and call him out to face him in the Octagon

    Fury is finished anyway

"Oh anthony Joshua, he's too stiff, yes too stiff"

Never mind him being stiff, your knees are too stiff, you are shot.com, full Degale mode.

I wonder how many people in the UK actually care about that? He never was very popular in the UK besides that brief moment after he had beaten Wlad, until his demeanor and ultra progressive views drained his popularity again. Then the drug thing came to light and besides his Jason ressurection moment in the Wilder fight, he didn't really inspire in the other fights against subpar opposition.

Would he ever have filled up Wembley with 80.000 creaming fans? Probably not.

They literally cancelled his first schedule rematch with Klitschko because they couldn't sell enough tickets to cover the costs of a 20,000 seat arena.

Unless he was fighting AJ he wouldn't get near 80,000 tickets.

Its a two way thing. Its not just Fury's personality. The British people are racist towards gypsies anyway (and other minorities unless they are devoid of a personality) so they never would have warmed up to him. No amount of brown-nosing from Fury would have made him a fan favourite.

He is better off in America....

Who has Fat Mick ever promoted well?.

I'd also say his talent was far from obvious - getting a gift against McDermott, ducking Price and being most famous for punching himself in the head - a lot of people didn't expect much from him.

He`s not a household name in Britain in the way that Frank Bruno was, I remember Khan making the same complaint, but he blamed it on him being non-white and his parents being from Pakistahn, he too wanted attention and only cared about celebrity, Fury needs as much fame as he can get which is why he`s turning away from boxing and going into wrestling and maybe even the UFC.

Fury and Khan are both household names so no idea what you/they're getting at. Khan had the red carpet rolled out for him post that Olympic silver medal and has been all over British TV ever since.

Fury would get destroyed by Stipe in the UFC he should fight Wilder in the octagon instead.

Khan is nowhere near as famous as Eubank Sr or Frank Bruno were, PPV has ruined viewing figures for bouts, Eubank v Benn got 15 million viewers in the 90`s, a boxing match these days will never match that, Khan also said Nazeem was more famous than him and he wanted that kind of fame that Naz got in the 90`s which was a boom time for British boxing.
